Whoever is in the spotlight, people are really quick to judge. If you're in the spotlight, people are going to say bad things, and that's just the way it is. I am not very fond of spotlight and yet I'm grateful for the happiness I bring to others while in it. I appreciate the small things that give me joy. A laugh here, a photo with a new friend there, a smile, watching others try hard in class. I'm a big fan of working out on my own. I put my headphones on and I'm pretty good at self-motivating. I'm also a fan of a great class filled with energy and camaraderie. A class can motivate me to heights much higher than expected. An instructor who cheers me on while pushing us has me hooked.
