who: sharpay & @littlestramp where: sharpay's apartment

After she'd been given the stamp of approval from Marie that it'd be fine to hire Colette as her assistant, Sharpay invited the girl over her apartment for the least formal interview she'd probably ever had. Sharpay knew she could handle herself if she'd previously been Angelica's assistant, but she simply needed to make sure the two would vibe well before considering her hired. She hadn't considered having an assistant before, honestly not having enough of a paycheck to spare to hire one. But, after she'd gotten another film under her belt, it felt like the right time to get someone to help her.

"Can I get you anything?" Sharpay asked as the brunette took a seat at her table. "I can make coffee, water ... actually, you should take advantage while I'm getting you something, so I'm insisting," she teased, remaining standing while she awaited the younger girl's answer. "Also, you can totally, like, relax. Angelica's said really good things about you, so I just wanna get to know you myself, if that makes sense. She's one of my best friends, so, I trust her judgement."

who: sam & @littlestramp where: the snuggly duckling

There were few bars in town that would even let the boys in at this point, given how many shenanigans they'd pulled off at some of the fancier ones. Apparently, Wendy had befriended one of the bouncers at this one, and Peter knew one of the bartenders, which left the Snuggly Duckling as their primary place to patronize. For many, it was the place where they ended their night, while the boys had gone from start to finish while they waited on the more interesting crowd to roll in once the hours ticked by. This was really all Sam knew, given that he was the last one to turn of age to even come out with the rest of them, having been left with Wendy's youngest brother before he was able to be included.

It was just about the time that the people coming in from the clubs were ending at the hole-in-the-wall when Sam saw her, the very girl who he'd been dreaming of running into one day if he had the chance. She was so much closer this time, not across an entire country club, and he could not fuck it up. He didn't even know what girls wanted a guy to do--was he supposed to get her a drink, or pretend like he had no idea who she was and play it cool? There was unfortunately no way of telling until he approached her and found out through trial and error.

Sam went for the drink idea, hoping that she might at least speak to him if he showed generosity. With a beer in hand for himself and a vodka with Sprite in the other for her (it seemed to be drink the girls beside him were ordering), he made his way to Colette with a nervous smile plastered on his face. "Um, hi, this is--it's for you," he offered, holding out the glass. "There's nothing in it. I mean, I'm not trying to poison you, or anything, but I can switch with you, if you want ... I realize now how this comes off," Sam babbled, ending with a sheepish, embarrassed laugh. "I--It's just that you're, uh, really pretty, and I thought ... maybe you could use a drink, since you don't have one."

who: scamp & @thebabytramp where: the halloween ball

Scamp expected nothing less than his youngest sister's bitchiest self after hearing that their mother had started a fight with her about her dress for the night. Colette did not like to be told what to do, especially when it came to fashion, apparently. He'd seen the redhead around the bar a few too many times for his own liking, but Scamp knew that getting on her case about watching how much she drank would just start another argument between them, this time, in public. Instead, he waited until the dance floor began to clear out to go look for her, finding his sister slumped in a chair at one of the dining tables, by herself.

"Hey," he greeted as he took a gentle seat beside her. Colette's arms were folded over her chest, her eyes glued to the door out of the ballroom for who knew what reason. Scamp couldn't expect much of an explanation with her like this; he was just hoping not to be verbally eaten alive by her anger. "Do you, uh, wanna maybe come back to my place, for the night? Since I know you and mom ... I heard about that. I can take you back in the morning, if you want," Scamp suggested, unsure whether he hoped she'd take the offer or just leave him alone for the night.

who: claude & @mlletatou where: gusteau's

Claude liked to think that he was always respectful when it came to the unspoken rules of the restaurant business, but desperate times called for measures he had never taken before. With Gusteau's performing visibly worse than his own restaurant, and whispers of a chef outgrowing her time there, he decided to pay a visit to the competitor for dinner. He went alone, to sit and have the chef's special for dinner, hoping that he would get to greet the cook herself at the end of the meal. It was impressive, with a refined sense of seasoning that Blaise simply didn't possess anymore, and he wondered if she might be looking for a new place to work, after all.

When she came from the kitchen, Claude stood, extending a hand to shake. It wasn't customary for a proper greeting from a customer, but rather a gesture that had been ingrained after years of working in the business. "Chef, brilliant work," he told her, "I have to say, I've been avoiding coming here for a while, but I've been missing out. It simply felt sacrilegious, but fine cooking is worth it, I suppose. I'm Claude Cogsworth, manager at Les Trois Comperes," he explained, hoping she would understand. "You wouldn't care to stay for a moment, would you?"

Closed starter for: @toughxstcook Location: Evermore Pride Festival

For both Remy and Colette to have an evening off work was a rarity. Remy wasn't going to complain though. It gave him an excuse to get out of his apartment and to do something. With the pride festival going on Remy knew it was the perfect chance to have some fun and celebrate. The only issue is he didn't really want to go alone. Bring in Colette and there he was. The two had a strange relationship. She was such a hard head at work and he as much as he tried to stay out of her way and do what she said he still tried to get under her skin a little bit with some lighthearted jokes he knew she wouldn't appreciate. Outside of work Colette seemed like a different person. She was still a fiery person but Remy was able to actually have a conversation with her and sometimes even enjoy her company. "Okay, I won't lie," Remy began to say after they'd just walked away from some of the vendors there, "I'm starving. The only issue...I don't know if I trust the food here. I can be a bit...picky is all." He glances down at Colette. "What are you thinking? We can either say fuck it and eat and let fate decide what happens to my stomach or we can just drink enough to forget we're hungry. The choice is yours, madame."

“I know you don’t really do private chef work anymore, but hear me out, okay? I can give you ... whatever you want, name a price, and you know it also comes with a wine night because I love you.” Atta couldn’t even fathom having to cook for how many people were in her family. Though her mother had helped her in prior years, after retiring and getting weaker by the day, it was probably up to Atta this year. There was a company holiday party, too, which required catering, but Atta had put in a request from Gusteau’s months ago, just to be sure that they had enough food for every employee, Hopper’s division included. “Just think of it as a few extra portions when you’re making the company spread! That would be perfect. I don’t care if it’s the same menu--even though most of the family works at Dreyfus, they won’t even notice because it’s so good.”

Luca was nervous about this, about eventually running into Colette after leaving her stood outside a restaurant before disappearing to twelve for a while. He was definitely nervous, wringing his hands as he scanned the room for her, because at least if he could prepare himself, maybe he wouldn’t say something stupid.

That didn’t work, because as he spun around to face the opposite direction, he realised she was standing right behind him, and maybe he muttered “fuck” a little too loudly. “Uh- you, uh-- you look incredible”

Luca couldn’t shake it. Shake the overwhelming feeling of sadness after Faith took her last breath and there was no way she could make it out of the arena, no way she could continue her adventure on the outside. He tried not to get attached, tried to keep himself from getting his hopes up as she made it through yet another day, but the hope he had, and the hopes of twelve, they were crushed today, and he could not shake the sadness, or the anger, as much as he tried. 

He was hunched over one of the tables in the back of the tattoo shop, sketching, but he kept messing up and this was the fourth page he’d ripped out of his book and scrunched together before throwing it across the room. “Fucking pencil, piece of shit” he mumbled to himself, gritting his teeth, and then threw that across the room too, missed the bell of the door ringing as someone entered.
