In one hand a sparkling juice, the other a fine wine, Duchess wore a bright smile as she held the offering out to the man, making sure there was a backup option if he didn't drink. "My compliments to the chef," she explained, always so satisfied with her meals at Gusteau's and grateful that a place like it existed in Evermore; her food was always perfect, and Remy was always so generous, she felt she owed him more. "I insist. Consider it an early Christmas if you must."

Duchess was always a warm and welcomed presence in Remy's life. She was one of his favorite customers and he often gave her her meals for free because he was so fond of her. She stood in the doorway of his apartment instead of the door of the restaurant this time, holding up two bottles and wearing a radiant smile. "Duchess, you spoil me," he teased her before taking the bottles so she didn't have to hold them. He let her inside his somewhat humble apartment before properly greeting her. "Thank you. You're too generous, really," he said a bit sheepishly before smiling at her. "How have you been? I haven't seen you come in recently. I had to make sure I didn't lose my best customer, hence the dinner invitation." He could smell the food simmering on the stove from the other room. It was as if he was swimming in it that it smelled so rich. "I do hope all is well though. I hope you know you can come to me if you need anything."
