Marie had grown quite fond of Webby in the short time they had become friends. Webby was very intelligent and she talked a lot, but Marie was quite patient at times. Sometimes she had to tell Webby to take a breather when she got too excited about something, but was never one to discourage her friend. She knew her and Webby had grown up in very different life styles. Hell, Marie grew up in an entire different country. Still, she was in Walt Grove now and that’s what mattered. Currently, they were in the mall food court. Marie was snacking on a hot pretzel with all of her shopping bags sat neatly beside her while Webby was having her own snack. The two had only been silent for a few minutes but Marie grew bored easily. “Do you know which store we didn’t go into?” Marie brings up. “A shoe store. How on earth could we not have gone into a shoe store? Webby, no offense, but your shoes are very wintery and it’s nearly spring. They’re very cute, yes, but it’s time to start looking for something new. Only a few more weeks and people will give you odd looks for wearing those.” Marie nods and picks up the drink she had and takes a sip through the straw. “I say these things because I care.”
