TILT A WHIRL - fun fair
The long line had been worth the wait. Like a record by Dead or Alive playing as the ride slowly rumbled to life had Vivienne's flushed cheeks round with a dimpled smile. Reaching next to her inside their little cacoon Vivienne laced her fingers through Cora's as excitement pumped through her veins. "Are you ready?" She practically squealed with pure delight as the ride began to spin. It was slow at first, making her insides feel like there were flutters of wings being swooshed around and around. Then, the ride picked up very quickly, and her smile burst into giggles. Around and around, she tried to focus on one focal point to prevent herself from getting sick. However, every time the ride spun, so did the chair, causing Vivienne to lose her focal point each time. Turning her head, she pushed her hair away from her cheeks and made Cora her still point. Her giggles did not subside as the ride continued to spin them, reminding Vivienne of the joy of spinning with her arms wide open. Gripping Cora close, she slid back and forth with the turning of the ride. It wasn't too long before she felt the ride begin to slow, and as it slowed, Vivienne relaxed and dropped her forehead against Cora's with a delighted and still relieved exhale. "How many times do you think it would take before we were too sick to walk?" She asked, her legs feeling like jelly as the attendant opened their pod, and Viv unsteadily stumbled her way out and waited with a hand out for Cora to meet her. Delirious, she looped their arms together as she led them in a swaying step down the ride's exit ramp. "So I have something important and fucked to tell you." She began her eyes shifting over to Cora to gauge her reaction before she continued. She had been avoiding telling anyone about her brief run in with Sam unsure herself how she was feeling about it, but it’d been over a week now and Vivienne figured talking about it might bring some clarity to her scrambled thoughts and aching chest.
