She hadn’t really intended on bringing up Rodolphus. She and Alastor had only been talking about where they might have their next lunch out, and Pomona had mentioned the little tea shop she had met Rodolphus at.

Moody’s jaw had tightened and he had almost frozen in place. Immediately he asked her all of these questions about where they had gone, what had happened there. Pomona had smiled and explained the story, how Rod had invited her out to tea, the funny outfit he had worn.

And all of a sudden Moody’s face was colder than she had ever seen it before. And he was spitting out these harsh words. The thought of you with him makes me sick.

“I don’t understand, Al, he was perfectly harmless. I think he might be gay, actually, kept going on and on about my hair.” She shrugged, a small smile on his face. “He invited me over to his house, and I’m thinking about going.”
