Callie was at the park with the children she babysat. The three were playing on the playground as she walked the family dogs. She thought she had everything under control until they yanked too hard and caused her to fall over, letting go of the leashes that they were on. “Roxie! Peanut! Come back!” she yelled as the dogs ran away. Thankfully the eldest sibling she was the nanny of got the dogs. As Callie was about to get up, she noticed that she’d fallen right in front of somebody running. The blonde looked around and then gave an awkward smile. “Uh, sorry,” she said as she bit her bottom lip awkwardly.
Arthur had watched the whole chain of events unfold from a nearby bench - the dogs running away, the fall, the jogger who’d run right around her with a scowl on their face. He’d jumped to his feet the second he realized they weren’t going to stop to help, and he rushes over to her once he sees that an older kid had managed to secure the dogs. “Don’t apologize to him. People here can be so rude,” he complains with a huff as he watches the runner continue on the path without skipping a beat. He extends his hands out to her to help her up as he asks, “Are you okay? Are you hurt?”
