Welcome to Monarch March / Mobuim March, 2026!

Last year was a success with our first Monarch and Mobium ship week events, and we will be continuing it yearly going forward! This year's theme is: "From the seas, to the stars"

We're taking a different approach this year regarding the theme, where instead of a shared theme overall, there is one for each ship, sea and space themes respectively. The prompts are also more open ended, so you are free to stick to the themes, or think outside of the box based on the word of the day. We'd love to get feedback on this prompt style and more separate theming this time around!

You can feel free to do every prompt, pick and choose, or dedicate a project to the theme overall. We also apologize for taking a little extra time to post these, and for the lack of updates going into March overall. As mentioned before, this event is mainly modded by one person, with support from the server on ideas and feedback, so there were some delays on creating the prompts and graphics this year.

With that being said, this is still an overall monthly challenge, so you can feel free to post overall throughout the month whenever is most convenient, the highlighted weeks serving as a way to center and feature the ships. You can also continue to event tag any updated wips started and created for this event outside of the month!

We want this to be a fun and no-stress event, and simply take the time to celebrate our favorite Kings of Games. ✨

Now some of you may be wondering why this is a shared event at all if these are two different ships over two different weeks... This was originally a server event hosted within @puzzleshippinganonymous where we dedicated the month of March to celebrate both monarch and mobium, as they are the two other ships we focus on in that server. We have server events for every month, other than March (and July but everyone is usually burned out from or still finishing PuzzleJune, which has also been handled by PA server members) This mainly meant highlighting others' creative works, and making our own during March. We also noticed there was no monarch event at all on tumblr, the former mobium event's host (also a PA mod) also went on indefinite hiatus and asked us to continue it, so we wanted to extend the event outside of the server to be able to connect with and create other fans for these ships. This is not to say they are interchangeable, or similar enough to be mashed together, but rather us trying to share our spotlight for these more rare ships in the fandom. However, we are always open to feedback on how these events should be handled, as we are essentially just approaching it how we do within the server, but we hope you all understand creating two separate events and modding them is difficult for one person. On that note, I welcome anyone who would be interested in helping plan and moderate the events to reach out! If there are people invested in making a full month, or even help create individual events for the fandom, we would love to support that as well. Feel free to send in any other questions, comments, or concerns about any of this! This is only the second time we are doing this event so we are still experimenting with the planning and structure of it. Art of my Harem au featuring : Atem (Pharaoh), Yugi (Noble), Heba (Slave) and Yami (Guard/Soldier) Or maybe I should call him Mao? I'm not sure yet

Atem and Yugi are DM inspired and Heba and Yami are Season0/Toei inspired. I know Heba is supposed to be tanned but I just used that name for Toei Yugi since I didn't know how I could call him otherwise. I also gave him blue eyes since in the early manga coloring Yugi had blue eyes and I also wanted to add a little diversity.

Summary:

In this au, Atem rules Egypt with Yugi by his side. He is not officially the equivalent of a queen since he can't give Atem an heir but Atem doesn't care and everybody respects the king's lover as such.

One day, Atem meets Heba. A slave looking just like Yugi. Intrigued by his ressemblence at first, a desire to save and protect Heba from his circumstances was born in Atem's heart and he soon falls in love with him too.

Thinking it's only to spice up their sex life, Yugi agrees that Atem bring Heba to their bed. After all, he finds him rather cute and is quite enchanted by the idea of a threesome from time to time.

However, Yugi soon realizes their feelings for each other and starts to get really jealous towards Heba. Meanwhile, Heba feels bad about Yugi's wrath but doesn't want to give up his new life with the Pharaoh that he loves.

Time passes. Yugi and Heba get to know each other and feelings start to sprout between them. Atem is very pleased about that!

But things get a little complicated when in comes Yami, a new guard for the Royal Palace. He quickly falls for Yugi AND Heba's beauty and openly starts to flirt with them when he gets the chance.

This time, it's Atem's turn to get jealous. He needs to teach this handsome man a lesson.
