テキスト専用投稿サービス「LifeCLIPS」を運営するスタートアップiDEAKITTが、新たにチャットを使ったサービス「ChatCast」をリリースした。
チャットのサービスというと、話題になることも多いチャットUIなどを思い浮かべるが、「ChatCast」は異なる。チャット形式で会話を行い、その会話内容を編集して投稿ができるプラットフォームとなっている。
「LifeCLIPS」は、拡散を前提としない、限られた人たち向けのサービスだった。一方の「ChatCast」はチャットの内容をオープンにすることで、会話の内容をコンテンツ化したいと考える人達向けのサービスとなっており、趣はかなり異なる。これもテキストコミュニケーションにおける挑戦だと思うと興味深い。
