Clint and Pepper's Christmas Adventure Part 1
Pepper: Pepper pulled into the driveway of the old white farmhouse. "That's it." It was a rather large home, and she hoped it didn't intimidate Clint. She pulled her car into the garage and got out. "You ready for this?" Pepper pulled her suitcase out of the trunk, and waited for Clint to grab his things. "Still time to bolt."
Clint: Clint looks up at the old house and he almost wants to run. He already feels like an outsider. He has no idea how to act. He flashes Pepper a smile, though. "I'm ready. Not gonna bolt." Not when Pepper had been so excited. Clint pulls out his backpack full of clothes and toiletries and reaches for her suitcase. "Want me to carry that?"
Pepper: "You can if you like. And it'll look good for my dad." Pepper grinned and handed off the suitcase. "My mom isn't home from work yet, so it's just us and my dad right now." She used her key to open the door to the house, heading into the kitchen. After kicking her boots off, and leaving them next to the kitchen door, she called out. "Anyone here?!"
Clint: Clint takes the suitcase and smiles. "Good first impression, alright. That's always good." Clint follows her to the house. Her dad? Of either of her parents, Clint was most worried about meeting her dad. Clint takes off his shoes at the door as well, just mimicking whatever Pepper's doing.
Pepper: Pretty soon, they were joined by Pepper's dad, John. He instantly moved over to hug Pepper tightly. "Hey there, kiddo. 'Bout time you got home." Pepper smiled and returned the hug. "Yeah, we stopped for a bit because of the snow." She gestured to Clint. "Daddy, this is my boyfriend, Clint." John had been looking Clint over, approving that he was the one holding onto the suitcases. He stuck out his hand for Clint to shake. "Nice to meet you, Clint."
Clint: Clint takes John's hand, shaking it. "Nice to meet you too, Mr. Potts." He gives him a nervous smile, trying to make a good impression. "Um. Thanks for inviting me for Christmas." He's really nervous now, hoping that Pepper's dad won't disapprove of him dating Pepper.
Pepper: "Of course. It's no trouble." John gave Clint a firm smile. "Virginia said that you didn't really have somewhere to go for Christmas, so we're glad to have you." Pepper made a face when he used her proper name.
Clint: Clint holds down a smile at Pepper's real name. Virginia? Clint didn't realize that he was dating a state. He doesn't say that, though, and he nods. "Yeah. I was gonna spend most of the break doing schoolwork." Clint glances over at Pepper, giving her a bit of a nervous smile. He's not sure what else to say.
Pepper: John gave Clint and Pepper both a smile. "Well, I assume you two want to go get settled in upstairs. Virginia will show you where the guest room is, and I'll get some hot drinks going. I assume you're pretty cold from the trip. Clint, are you a tea, coffee, or cocoa person?" John started the kettle on the stove top for his own tea. Pepper waited for Clint's answer before leading him to the back staircase, which was closest.
Clint: Clint nods a little when John asks if they wanted to get settled in. "Uh, I'm happy with anything that you want to make. Whatever is fine. Thanks." He follows Pepper up the stairs and lets out a sigh of relief when they're out of John's earshot. "I think that went well? Maybe?" He asks Pepper, who obviously knows her family better than he does.
Pepper: "It'll get worse. He's got his company face on right now." Pepper chuckled as she lead him down the hall to the guest room. "That's you." She opened the door and stepped inside. "And you and I share a bathroom between us." Pepper pointed at the one door. "And the other door is the closet if you want to hang stuff up."
Clint: Clint puts his backpack down on the bed in the room that Pepper showed him, letting out a soft sigh and kissing her cheek softly. "That worries me a little," he admits to Pepper, smiling a little at her. "Also... Virgina? I didn't realize that I was dating a state." Clint teases, "It's cute. I like it."
Pepper: Pepper shook her head. "It wont be bad if we manage to pretend that we're unpacking long enough until my mom get's home." She stuck her tongue out at him. "There was a reason why I didn't tell you my name. Because it's awful."
Clint: Clint smiles at her. "Yeah, with my one backpack and your suitcase." He smiles a little. "Speaking of which, where should I put it?" Clint laughs a little. "We can spend the time making out instead if you'd rather." He kisses her cheek. "I don't think it's so bad. I'm gonna keep calling you sugar, but Virginia isn't too bad. You got named after a state, is all. Like someone named Georgia."
Pepper: "You can put it anywhere you like. This is your room for the next couple of days." Pepper shrugged. "And making out is not a good idea, because my dad is going to bring up the coffee, tea, or cocoa." She pointed out. Pepper tossed one of the pillows from the bed at him playfully. "The name Virginia doesn't come from the state. It comes from the same Latin word as the word virgin."
Clint: Clint smiles a little. "I should put /your/ suitcase in my room?" He puts it down next to the door though and catches the pillow. Clint gets on the bed next to her and smiles a little. "Virgin? Well, I know that that's not true. I think you being named after the state is funnier, actually."
Pepper: Pepper laughed a little. "Sorry, I thought you meant yours." She scooted in, and kissed him gently. "Well, as far as anyone goes in this household, I'm a virgin, and am staying that way until I want to have kids.' Pepper smiled, and kissed him again.
Clint: Clint laughs and kisses her back every time that Pepper kisses him. "I know. It's not like I'm about to start telling your parents about anything." Clint wraps an arm around her waist and leans against her. "I love you, Sugar" he murmurs in her ear, "Even if you don't like your name."
Pepper: "Love you too." Pepper grinned. "So, why don't you unpack, and then you can come with me while I unpack." She suggested, giving him a squeeze.
Clint: Clint nods. "Alright. See you in a bit." He pulls out his clothes, putting them neatly in the drawer and pulls out his ziplock bag with soap, toothpaste and a toothbrush before going to join Pepper in her room. "I think you have more to unpack than I do."
Pepper: Pepper was hanging up her shirts and dresses. "Probably. I tend to over pack." She grinned, giving him a kiss. "Want to help? You can put the rest of the clothes on my bed into the top drawer in that dresser if you like." She nodded towards her underwear all folded neatly on her bed. "Try not to unfold it though."
Clint: Clint does so. "I won't unfold it," he assures Pepper, putting the clothes in the dresser before smiling at her. "All done. What next?" Clint sits down on bed again. "You're a lot more neat with your stuff than I am. I just don't have as much stuff to be neat with." He laughs a little. "You brought a ton of clothes."
Pepper: "I know, but I don't know what I'll want to wear." Pepper made a face, shutting her closet. "And we can either look busy up here, or go down and face my dad for half an hour before my mom gets back."
Clint: Clint sits back. "Up to you, Pepper. If you want to go talk to your dad for a half hour, I'll go down there with you. I'm happy either way." He'd be more nervous talking to Pepper's dad, but he's going to be spending a lot of time with her family, so might as well get used to them now.
Pepper: Pepper kissed him. "Are you sure? We can pretend to still be unpacking." She didn't want to put him up against her dad's full on wrath. "I mean, he's probably expecting us to take a little time." Pepper gave him a little smile and kissed him again. "I'd much rather stay up here with you..."
Clint: Clint beams. "Then let's stay here. I'm more than happy to be here with you." He kisses her back and resists the urge to pull her into his lap. Stupid parents. Clint deepens the kiss a little instead. "Love you," he murmurs.
Pepper: "Love you." Pepper returned the kisses, scooting in closer. "We need to be quiet if we're going to make out. The stairs creak so we'll hear my dad." She kissed him again, running her hands over his chest and down his stomach, letting her hands stop just above his hips.
Clint: Clint smirks and pulls Pepper into his lap, giving her a wink. "Alright. We can do that." Clint smiles and pulls her into another soft kiss. "Which do you like, Pepper? Tea, coffee or cocoa?
Pepper: Pepper slid, knees on either side of Clint. "Usually tea. But sometimes coffee, or cocoa.' She kissed him slowly and precisely. "I love you." She hummed, tickling the hairline on the back of his neck.
Clint: Clint smiles and laughs. "You would be a tea person." He's subdued a little by Pepper's kiss and the hands on the back of his neck. "I love you too," Clint replies, giving her a smile and gently pulling her a bit closer. "I really like being with you."
Pepper: "I'm definitely a tea person." Pepper looked at him. "You seem like a coffee person." She moved closer, and kissed his neck gently. "I'm really glad you came with me this break. I'd be really sad otherwise."
Clint: Clint smiles a little. "I like cocoa the best, but coffee's really good too." He tilts his head back a little. "I'm glad that you're happy." he tells her, arms wrapping around her middle.
Pepper: Pepper grinned. "I love that cocoa is your favorite." She kissed him again and jolted back. "Creak on the stairs." Pepper hopped up and headed over to the dresser, pretending to finish putting away her clothes as her dad came in, knocking gently. "There's cocoa downstairs ready for both of you."
Clint: Clint laughs softly. "Oh, whys that?" He sits up straight when Pepper pulls off of him, and gives her dad another nervous smile. "Thank you, Mr. Potts." He tells him, standing up and smiling a little.
Pepper: Pepper shut the drawer, and took Clint's hand, leading him downstairs to the kitchen. She handed him one of the large mugs full of cocoa. "Do you want marshmallows?" She asked, getting the package of jumbo marshmallows from the cupboard. John was right behind them, and picked up his tea, eyeing Clint up and down, noting his slightly flushed tone. "You two took a while unpacking." John said, knowing full well what was going on upstairs.
Clint: Clint follows her. "No, Pepper, thanks." Clint sips out of his mug, smiling a little at the sweet chocolate taste. "Uh, yeah. Pepper packed a lot of clothes to come home with." He gives Pepper a bit of a smile.
Pepper: Pepper plopped a marshmallow into her own mug, and her dad chuckled. "Yeah, that's our Virginia. She has always over packed. One summer, we were going to take a week long trip and she brought ten outfits, and a bag full of books."
Clint: "Was she a girl boy scout? Always prepared and stuff?" Clint gives her a smile. "I guess she always had an outfit if she spilled on it or something." He sips at the cocoa again.
Pepper: Pepper made a face at them. "Don't you start ganging up on me. I just like to have options." John laughed. "You made me carry the books! They were heavy."
Clint: Clint smiles a little and sips his drink, letting Pepper and her dad start to talk and just watching. It's what he does when he's uncomfortable like this. Fall silent and see how the dynamic is.
Pepper: Pepper shook her head, and rolled her eyes. "You were the one who said 'Oh, Virginia, wouldn't it be fun to join Brownies?'" John shook his head, and sipped his tea. Pepper looked over at Clint. "Brownies are little wee girl scouts. Just above Daisies." She explained quietly.
Clint: Clint frowns a little. "... I thought only boys were allowed in the boy scouts," he tells Pepper, a little confused.
Pepper: "There are girl scouts, which are female equivalents of boy scouts." Pepper explained. "We did some of the same things as boy scout, but some different things, like we did a theater badge and had an Alice in Wonderland themed tea party." John hummed in agreement. "The girl scouts are like the boy scouts, only cuter, and sometimes less outdoorsy." He added.
Clint: Clint nods a little. "Oh. Okay." He goes to drink some more and frowns at his cup when there's none left. "Can I have some water?" he asks, "Please?"
Pepper: John nodded. "Glasses are in the cupboard behind you, and filtered water in the fridge door, unless you want more cocoa." Pepper finished her own cocoa, nibbling the marshmallow. "I might have more cocoa." She winked at Clint, letting him know that he was doing okay.
Clint: Clint pauses, until Pepper winks at him and says she's going to have some more. "I think I'll actually have some more cocoa, if that's okay." Clint smiles at her a little and goes to get some more.
Pepper: Pepper heated up more milk to make the cocoa. She rubbed Clint's arm gently, and gave him a smile. John was taking mental notes of their interactions, seeing how close Pepper seemed to want to be to Clint. Outside, the garage door opened, and soon a car door shut. "Mom's home." Pepper smiled as she poured cocoa into Clint's mug before her own.
Clint takes the mug. "Thanks, Pepper," He sips it, and freezes a little when Pepper says her mom's home. He hadn't even gotten used to Pepper's dad yet."
Pepper's mother, Ashley comes in. "I'm home, John," she calls as she comes in, taking off her shoes at the front door and hanging up her coat.
John instantly headed out to meet his wife at the door. "I don't like him. He's too...She's too happy with him." He said quietly.
Pepper gave Clint a kiss on the cheek. "You okay there? You look a little overwhelmed."
Ashley laughs softly. "That should be a good thing, John. He makes her happy, and that's good. At least she's not miserable with him."
Clint leans against her. "I am overwhelmed. Your family is scary."
John shook his head. "No, it's not. Because the one's that are liked are the ones that work their way into our baby girl's heart and heaven forbid into her bedroom."
"My mom isn't as scary.' Pepper promised. "She'll be smiling and happy to see you. Plus she was more excited than we were that you're spending Christmas here."
Ashley shakes her head. "John, hun, Pepper's a sensible girl. I'm sure she's not letting people into her bedroom. She's happy with her boyfriend right now, please try to be happy for her." She kissed her husband's cheek.
Clint shakes his head. "I just want to make a good impression. I don't think that your dad likes me that much."
John frowned. "It's my job to hate her boyfriend. It's in the dad handbook. Right behind the chapter on bad jokes." He sighed. "I'm trying to behave."
Pepper shrugged. "My dad is protective. I'm their baby girl." She kissed Clint's cheek again.
Ashley smile a little. "I know. But Pepper wanted to bring her boyfriend, who wasn't even going back to his parents for Christmas. We should let him have a good time, and Pepper will be happy too."
Clint smiles at her. "Not so much a baby anymore. You're almost an adult."
Pepper: John grumbled. "I'm trying but I don't like him." He put on a good pout to try to get his Ashley on his side.
Pepper shrugged. "I'm going to be seven forever to them."
Ashley shakes her head. "Be nice to him, John. Think about what his home life must be like, if he wasn't going to go home to his own parents', but he accepted an invitation to come here."
Clint smiles. "At least you know that they love you, I guess."
John rolled his eyes. "I know, I know." He sighed. "I'm trying to be nice."
Pepper nodded. "Yeah, they do. And they'll love you too, they just need to relax."
Ashley smiles a little. "I know. Just keep trying. But come on, I'd like to meet my daughter's boyfriend."
Clint smiles a little. "... That'd be nice."
Pepper: John nods, and gestures towards the kitchen, opening the door for his wife. Pepper gave Clint a quick kiss as her parents came in. "Mom!" Pepper moved over to hug her mom tightly.
Clint: Ashley hugs Pepper back just as tightly. "Virginia! I missed you." She kisses the top of Pepper's head. "Welcome back home. How was your semester?"
Clint: Clint hangs back, watching Pepper and Ashley.
Pepper: "It was good. Waiting for grades, but good." Pepper let go of her mom, and grabbed Clint's hand. "Mom, this is Clint."
Ashley smiles warmly at Clint. "Welcome to our home, Clint. I hope that you've settled in a little. I'm sorry for being home late, court ran over."
Clint nods. "Thanks for letting me come over." He squeezes Pepper's hand. "Uh, it's fine."
Pepper: Pepper slid an arm around Clint's waist, and smiled. "Good case then, Mom?"
Ashley nods. "It was intense, at least. We were trying to get these children taken into state custody. You know that that's difficult."
Clint frowns a little, confused.
Pepper: "Mom's a lawyer. Mostly for Child Protective Services." Pepper explained, giving Clint a squeeze. John piped in, "No, your mother is the best lawyer for Child Protective Services."
Clint freezes and his eyes widen, before he remembers that he's eighteen, and going to school. They're not going to drag him off anywhere and give him to people who don't really care about him.
Ashley notices Clint's reaction, but doesn't say anything about it. "Well, I try." She gives Clint a smile. "Well, I'm going to make dinner. Why don't you two go talk upstairs. Do you want to help me, John?"
Pepper: John gave Ashley a look, wondering what sort of crazy woman he married that she'd encourage their daughter to go upstairs, alone, with a boy. "Of course dear." Pepper smiled. "We'll be up in the family room." She took Clint's hand, making sure to give him a full mug of cocoa before leading him upstairs, and into the open family room area. The room was large, and had a fireplace on one side, and a TV on the adjacent wall. "See. Told you my mom was nice."
Ashley watches them go and leads John into kitchen. "Thank you, Hunny." She gives him some stuff to do. "Hun, did you see the way he reacted when Pepper told him I was from CPS?" She asks, frowning a little.
Clint sits down on the couch. "... You didn't tell me that your mom did lawyer stuff with the government..."
John nodded. "Yeah. Probably from his not so fantastic home life." He sighed, opening the fridge to pull out the steaks that they planned for dinner. "Probably a good thing that he's at that school. Even if it's a crazy place."
Pepper plopped down on the couch next to him. "Sorry. Is that a problem?"
Ashley lets out a soft sigh. "Do you think I should talk to him about it? See if I can help him at all? I'm not a social worker, but..." She starts chopping onions and carrots.
Clint looks down. "No. Not anymore. I just... It was sort of pounded into us to stay away from cops, doctors and anyone from CPS." He sighs a little.
John shook his head. "He's eighteen I think. And besides, he's at the academy. They probably have custody of him."
Pepper frowned. "So they wouldn't take you away from the circus?" That made sense. "I'm sorry I didn't warn you."
Ashley nods. "I hope so. He looked terrified for a moment. I hope he can be comfortable here with us." She keeps cooking for John, smiling at him.
Clint just nods. "Yeah. They'd stick me in another orphanage and I'd sit there, ignored because no one wants a kid older than four."
John gives her a reassuring smile. "I'm sure he'll be alright. If he really needed our help, Virginia would find out and tell us."
Pepper nodded. "Yeah. She wont do that. You're too old, and since you're safe at the academy. She wouldn't consider it."
Ashley nods. "Yes, of course. That makes sense. Thank you, John." She smiles at him. "Are you actually going to start cooking those steaks, or let them sit there cold?"
Clint nods a little. "I know. Just. Instinct at this point." He smiles a little at her.
"I'm giving you a head start on the vegetables dear. They take longer than the steaks." John smiled, giving her a bit of the Potts sass. "Plus, my potatoes are not yet finished."
Pepper leaned over and kissed Clint gently. "I'm sorry, Tiger."
Ashley laughs softly and shakes her head. "Your potatoes won't taste very good without your steaks to go with it, hun."
Clint kisses her back softly. "Not your fault. I'm at the academy now and I'm happy and it's all good. I'll start to get over it. I went to see Doctor Carter, even though he was a doctor."
John shook his head. "Well, potatoes wont taste very good if they're raw in the middle when the steaks are done either."
Pepper smiled. "You know, I'm really proud of that. You going to see Dr. Carter. It takes a lot to be able to go and get help for a problem you have.'
Ashley smiles and starts a pot of boiling water. "You're lucky I love you, hunny." She smiles and kisses John's cheek softly.
Clint looks down. "I've only gone once. But, uh. It was good to talk about. Everything."
John shook his head with a smile. "You're lucky I put up with you."
Pepper pulled him into her arms. "You should keep going. He's a good doctor." She pulled him even farther down on top of her so that they were laying on the couch, leaning up to kiss him.
Ashley smiles and bumps her with his hip. "That /I/ put up with you? I'm the one who can put you on the couch tonight."
Clint wraps his arms around her tightly, kissing her back softly. "You think? I thought that you hated him."
"I'll kick Clint out of the guest room. Make him sleep on the couch." John warned, as he started heating up the indoor grill to prep for the steaks.
"I...just because I don't care for him doesn't mean he's not good at his job." Pepper shrugged and kissed him. "Besides, I might have been a bit too harsh on him."
Ashley raises an eyebrow. "You would kick an abused child out of a bed to sleep on a couch?" She asks, but it's in good humor.
Clint kisses her back a little. "I guess?" Clint almost tells her that Shane had encouraged him to break up with her, but he refrains.
"You'd kick your husband, the man you vowed to love, and help support out of his own bed, in his own house and force him to sleep on the couch?" John said, waxing poetic.
Pepper smiled. "He's really good at his job." She nodded, pulling Clint in close to kiss him again. "Love you."
Ashley laughs. "Yes, because he's doubting my cooking ability and I'm the wife." She teases him, kissing his cheek.
Clint shrugs. "I've never been to a therapist, I wouldn't know." He kisses her back every time that she kisses him, smiling softly.
"And I'm the five star chef!" John insisted. "My food is 'Delightfully precise in both taste and execution' according to Adam Platt of New York Magazine."
Pepper shrugged. "Everyone who goes to him for help gets helped. And well."
Ashley shakes her head. "And my food is what gets fed to the family, mr. Chef, even after I've been in court all day long." She puts the potatoes in the now boiling water.
Clint nod. "... I think that I have been doing better." He tells her. Some days are better than others, but overall... Clint's feeling much better. About everything.
John sighs. "I love to cook. Food is my art. Let me cook for our guest. You want him so happy. He's getting five star delightfully executed and tasting food in a home."
Pepper nodded. "I've noticed that you've been doing better. I'm proud."
Ashley let out a soft sigh. "Fine, mister five star." She kisses his cheek. "What do you want me to do to help, then?"
Clint smiles a little. "... I'm also... doing a better. Uh, when I think about us." He's not as unhappy. He hopes that makes Pepper happy.
John smiled gently. "You could help with the salad if you like."
Pepper smiled brightly. "Yeah?"
Ashley huffs. "You're seriously sticking me on salad duty? I can at least be your assistant, Hun."
Clint nods. "Yeah. I have." He smiles brightly at her.
"Well, someone needs to assemble the salad." John shrugged. "And I can't hear you complaining over the boiling water, so don't try."
Pepper squealed excitedly, kissing Clint repeatedly. "That makes me feel so much better
Ashley shakes her head. "Fine, I'll get started on the salad." She goes to wash her hands before washing the lettuce.
Clint kisses her back each time. "I'm glad. I just want you to be happy." He smiles at her.
John smiled at her. "Love you dear."
Pepper smiled and hummed softly. "I'm happy as long as you're good."
Ashley shakes her head. "I know you do, hun. I love you too."
Clint smiles a little. "I'm good." He knows that he's not all the way good, but... He's getting there. Maybe he'll eventually get to the point where he's not bothered at all by Pepper being with other people.
Within a few minutes the potatoes were done. "Dear, do you want to help use the potato ricer? You're being pushed up to sous chef, not just salad maker." John chuckled.
Pepper kissed him slowly again. "I love you. So so so much."
Ashley chuckles and drains the potatoes and starting to use the potato ricer on the potatoes. "I knew you'd see it my way," she tells John, smiling at her husband.
Clint smiles at her. "I love you too. Just as much."
"I'm working on the steaks." John let the steaks sizzle on the grill. "Add some of that garlic herb butter to the potatoes, and some cream, will you dear?"
Pepper smiled, holding Clint tightly. "Okay, so tonight I think perhaps you should use that magical portal of a bathroom we have to sneak into my room."
Ashley does as she's told, smiling. "Of course, hun." She smiles at John.
Clint laughs a little. "Oh? why's that?" he asks Pepper, smirking a little. "Just for cuddles?"
John gave her a smile, and turned the steak to make the proper grill marks.
Pepper gave him a wink. "Maybe. Or maybe something a little more fun. My parent's room is on the first floor, all the way on the opposite side of the house."
Ashley finishes with the salad and potatoes and goes over to John, giving him a quick kiss on the cheek. "It smells wonderful."
Clint smiles and kisses Pepper softly. "That sounds like a great idea, then. As long as your dad doesn't come to check on us."
John grinned. "You might want to go get the kids. It's just about ready."
Pepper smiled. "Oh, don't worry. My mom wont let him. Besides my mom already gave me permission to lock my door tonight to keep dad from trying to snoop."
Ashley smiles. "Alright." She starts to go upstairs to go get them.
"I think I rather like your mom, Sugar." Clint informs her, giving her a small smile. He pauses when he hears a creak. "Someone's coming up the stairs.
Pepper: "Probably my mom. Dad'll be cooking the steaks. He's a five star chef. You'll hear about it." Pepper guided Clint upright, sitting up and hugging him gently as she looked over her shoulder. "Hey mom. Dinner ready?"
Ashley smiles when she comes in, seeing them hugging. "Yeah, dinner's almost ready. Your father took over, like he always does when I ask for help." She chuckles a little. "Be down in about five minutes, okay?"
Clint looks back at her, silent as she talked, and nodded when she said to be down in five minutes.
Pepper: "Alright." Pepper gives her a smile and stands up, stretching a bit. "What do you want to drink with dinner? There's milk, and juice, and soda." She took Clint's hand and lead him down to the kitchen. "Dad, I hear you took over, and kicked mom out of the kitchen," John chuckled. "I just wanted to make sure everything was right. Clint, I forgot to ask how you liked your steak done."
Clint: Clint shrugs. "Uh. Soda, if that's okay?" He follows her down to the kitchen, and shrugs when John asks him how he likes his steak. Honestly, he's only ever had steak twice. "However is fine," he tells John.
Pepper: "Okay. Coke alright?" Pepper asked, pulling some soda from the fridge. John pulled the steaks off the grill, and lead them into the dining room. Pepper gestured to a seat on one side of the long table. "You can sit there." She took the seat across from him as John came in and served the steaks, leaving the other items on the table for everyone to help themselves.
Clint: Clint nods. "Yes, thank you." He sits down at the table, not sure what to do and waits for everyone. When he's served a steak, he thanks John and waits for everyone. Clint gives Pepper a bit of a smile.
Pepper: John returns and sits and the end of the table. Pepper smiles across at Clint and puts the napkin on her lap, giving Clint an eyebrow cue to do the same, before dolloping some of the potatoes onto her plate and passing them to her mom.
Clint just copies what Pepper does, waiting for things to get passed to him before putting some on his plate and passing it on, smiling at Pepper occasionally.
Ashley sits down, thanking her husband and passing around the food, smiling. "It looks delicious, hunny."
Pepper: John smiled, "Well, it's because I have the best assistant." He gave her a wink, and Pepper took a bite of her steak. "Mm. I miss your cooking when I'm at school dad."
Clint: Clint takes a bite and his eyes widen almost comically. "This is really, really good." He tells John, digging in. He didn't think he had ever had had food that was this good." Ashley smiles at the boy and her family. "So, Clint, what classes have you been taking." Clint makes sure to swallow his food before replying. "Uh, I'm going to be an agent, so it's mostly weapons training and stuff."
Pepper: John smiled. "Thank you Clint." He took a sip of his wine, humming at his answer about the classes. "Yes, Virginia told us that you were a talented archer." Pepper was nervously drawing swirls in the potatoes before taking a bite.
Clint: Clint looks down. "Uh yeah. That's sort of my thing." Ashley smiles encouragingly. "How did you get into archery, Clint?" Clint looks down at his plate. "It's a long story," he mumbles, slumping down in his seat a little.
Pepper: Pepper put her feet in Clint's lap, getting the contact she needed to comfort him. "He's done archery for a long time. He's amazing." She smiled, and tried to find a segue into a new topic. "He's teaching me how to shoot, and I'm teaching him how to cook."
Clint: Clint relaxes instantly at Pepper's touch. Ashley smiles a little at Clint, "You sound very talented." She nods at Pepper. "Well, it sounds that you two are learning a lot from each other. That's good."
Pepper: Pepper smiled and teased. "Yeah, I'm learning patience, and how to deal with a stubborn boyfriend..." She gave Clint a little wink and sipped her drink. John laughed. "Just wait for a few years, then we can talk about patience."
Clint: Clint smiles back at Pepper. "I'm learning that my girlfriend is always right," he teases back. Ashley laughs. "/You're/ one to talk about patience." She's teasing him.
Pepper: John looked at Clint. "That's smart. Make them think that they're always right. Makes it easier." Pepper chuckled, and wiggled her toes against Clint's leg, finishing what she could of her steak.
Clint: Clint smiles at John. "A lot easier," he agrees, flashing another smile at Pepper. He's finished his food off a while ago. It was really good, and he was hungry. Ashley shakes her head at Pepper. "Boys," she says, smiling.
Pepper: "Did you get enough to eat, Clint?" John asks. "Plenty of potatoes and more salad in the kitchen." Maybe if he fed him too much he'd get indigestion and not be able to sneak into Pepper's room later in the evening.
Clint: Clint nods. "I've had enough food, thank you." He smiles a little. Ashley smiles at the kids. "Well, I'd say that you're both excused, if you're done. Don't forget to take your dishes to the sink."
Pepper: John gave Ashley an unhappy look. She was pushing them together. Pepper glanced at Clint. "I'm ready if you are."
Clint nods. "Thank you." He stands up and takes his dishes, taking them to the sink.
Ashley smiles and watches them go.
Pepper followed Clint into the kitchen, setting her dishes in the sink next to Clint's. "Want to head upstairs to watch a movie or something in the family room?
John shook his head at his wife. "You keep encouraging them to go off alone."
Clint nods. "Yeah, that sounds awesome. Let's do that." He follows Pepper into one of the other rooms, smiling at her widely.
Ashley shakes her head. "It's not even dark out, John, relax. They'll be fine by themselves. They're practically adults."
Pepper lead him upstairs to the family room again. "What do you want to watch? We probably should watch a Christmas-y movie."
John shook his head. "Ashley, you are making it difficult. Just because they're practically adults doesn't mean they can be left alone without my worrying,"
Clint smiles. "I don't know any Christmas movies off the top of my head, so you're going to have to pick for us."
Ashley smiles at John. "Remember how we were in high school? We wanted to spend all of our time together too."
"Okay." Pepper picked out Holiday Inn. "This one's old, but it's really good, and it has Fred Astaire in it, so it's one of my favorites."
John nodded. "Yeah, I remember how we were in high school. And I remember some of the things that we did that I'd prefer Virginia not to be doing until she's thirty five."
Clint smiles a little. "I don't know who that is, but okay." He sits down on the couch.
Ashley laughs. "John, she's a teenager, and like me, she's a sensible one. At the very least, she'll be safe about it."
"He's the one who dances all the time in this movie. He's amazing." Pepper popped the movie into the blu-ray player, and went over to the fireplace. "Do you want a fire? It can get pretty drafty in here. Old house and what not. This house was built in the 1800s."
John shook his head. "And he's a teenage boy. A sex-crazed fiend who will use condoms that are three years out of date because he can't be bothered to worry about the lady enough to keep fresh one's around."
Clint nods. "Yeah, that sounds good. Want me to help you start the fire, oh miss I-can't-make-a-campfire?" he asks, laughing a little.
"And Pepper will have fresh ones for her to use. Calm down, John, it'll be fine." Ashley kisses her husband's cheek. "If she even lets him do it."
Pepper turned to stick her tongue out at him. "Shush you. Making a fire in the fireplace is easier than making one outdoors, even if you have to do extra steps." She started stacked some of the wood into the fireplace, and opened the damper.
John humphed at that. "She's young, she shouldn't even know what condoms are, let alone want them around."
Clint laughs a little. "If you say so, Sugar." He watches her make the fire.
Ashley shakes her head. "John, she's not a child." Ashley goes to do the dishes. "She's not a 6 year old anymore."
"We have the iron wood putting guide here." Pepper rolled some newspaper to light, and to prep the flue before finally lighting the fire. "See! Perfect fire!" She laughed and curled up next to Clint on the couch, pulling a blanket over them."
John grumbled. "She's still too young."
Clint shakes his head. "That's cheating." He tells her, laughing and little and pulling her close, kissing her cheek.
Ashley shakes her head. "She's a teenager, John, and we can't really stop her either way."
"That's not cheating, it's using my resources. And it keeps the logs from rolling away and catching the house on fire." Pepper explained, smiling and snuggling closer to him.
John pouted. "I can try if I want."
Clint smiles at Pepper and nuzzles her cheek gently. "Cheater mc. cheater-pants." He kisses Pepper's cheek.
Ashley laughs a little. "Leave your daughter and her boyfriend alone, John."
Pepper: "Fire safety monitor." Pepper corrected, hugging him tightly, gently resting her head on his shoulder as Bing Crosby came on screen to do his first song with Fred Astaire.
Pepper: John grumbled. "But I don't want to. You weren't a teen boy. You don't know what kind of pigs we can be."
Clint runs a hand through her hair, silent as he watches the movie with her.
Ashley shakes her head. "No, but I dated a teenage boy." She tells him, "And he grew up into a loving man."
Pepper smiled, "Love you," She murmured, curling up tighter against him.
John shook his head. "You got lucky. And I had a bright future."
Clint just tightens his hug. "Love you too," he tells Pepper, giving her a smile.
Ashley laughs. "Are you saying that Clint doesn't have a bright future?"
Pepper hummed, squeezing him again, turning to watch the movie.
"Well, he doesn't seem to have much of a future with our daughter. He's going to be an agent. Not suitable for Virginia. What kind of life can she have with him."
"Okay. You can pick. We have a large collection of movies in that cabinet." Pepper pointed.
John shakes his head. "Well, it's not happening in this house. I'm going up there."
Clint smiles. "Alright. I'll do that after this movie is over." He smiles at Pepper and leans his head against Pepper's.
Ashley frowns. "Absolutely not. You are not bothering them because you think that they might be having sex."
Pepper leaned up and kissed Clint gently. "Mhmm. When this is over, we should make popcorn."
John stood up. "If they're not then what's the problem."
Clint kisses her back. "Popcorn sounds awesome. I really, really like popcorn."
"The problem is you're harassing them for no good reason."
"Mm. It's really good. I do like to experiment with flavors and what not. I like lemon pepper on my popcorn." Pepper nodded.
"I don't think visiting my daughter who is home from school is a crime." John took the dishes into the kitchen and headed for the stairs.
"I'll eat just about anything. I just like food, honestly." Clint laughs and smiles at her, gently nuzzling her hair.
Ashley sighs, but lets him go.
Pepper: Pepper leaned against Clint, and winced when she heard the stairs creak. "Probably dad." She whispered. John came in, smiling. "Hey kids. Just wanted to check to make sure you guys didn't need any more cocoa or anything."
Clint: Clint gives John a nervous smile. "I'd like some cocoa. Please." He hopes that he's making a good impression on Pepper's parents.
Pepper: Pepper smiled, "If you want to make more cocoa, dad, we can't stop you." John eyed them both. Hands were under that blanket. "Clint, why don't you come down and help me?"
Clint: Clint gets up, arm moving from where it's wrapped around Pepper's waist. "Yeah, of course." He smiles at Pepper and goes to follow John back downstairs.
Pepper: Pepper wrinkled her nose as she watched them head downstairs. John grabbed the pan and poured in some milk. "So, Clint. I think we need to have a talk."
Clint: Clint blinks. So, he hadn't made a good impression. Fuck. This is where he was going to be asked to go home. "Uh, yeah. What about?"
Pepper: John sighed. "Well, see, I know that Virginia cares for you. She might even love you, even if she hasn't told you. There was only one other boy who came into this house who got that look from her. I just want you to know, that she's the best thing that ever is going to happen to you, so you better appreciate her, and not do anything stupid like get her pregnant, and ruin her life. Understand?"
Clint: Clint looks down. "I wouldn't ever do something like that to her. Ever. I'm not gonna get her pregnant, promise." He shrugs a little. "I care about Pepper a lot. She's my best friend. I wouldn't ever want to hurt her. Ever." He bites the inside of his cheek at the thought.
Pepper: John nods. "Do you love her?"
Clint: Clint nods. "Yeah. More than I've ever loved anyone."
Pepper: "I was afraid of that." John nodded again, slower. "My Virginia loves you, so I want to like you. Don't give me a reason to hate you."
Clint: Clint actually flinches when John says that he's afraid of that. Like Clint's love is a problem. And maybe that it's not good enough. "I'll try not to, sir." He tells John quietly.
Pepper: John stirred in the chocolate, and poured the cocoa into the mugs. "I'm glad we got this chance to talk, Clint." He handed him the two mugs, and a bag of marshmallows to take upstairs.
Clint: Clint nods mutely and takes the cocoa and marshmellows. "Yeah. Thanks for the cocoa. See you later." He heads back upstairs to Pepper, handing her the cup and marshmellows.
Pepper: "Hey. How bad did he scare you, Tiger?" Pepper instantly asked, looking up at him.
Clint: Clint shrugs a little and sips at his cocoa, much more quiet than he was before, and obviously not the content quietness he had had while watching the movie with Pepper.
Pepper: "Clint." Pepper looked at him. "Okay let me guess. He tried to tell you that you weren't good enough to be with me, and that I was the best thing to happen to you?"
Clint: Clint shrugs a little and looks down. "... Not exactly. He didn't say anything like that. It just was pretty obvious that he didn't think I was good enough for you." Clint mumbles.
Pepper: Pepper rolled her eyes. "Stay here for a minute." She hopped up and stormed down the stairs. "Dad?!" She headed straight for the kitchen. "Dad, what did you say to Clint?"
Clint: John looks up from where he's making himself some coffee. "What do you mean, Virginia?"
Pepper: "Clint was obviously upset when he came back upstairs, and it's obviously because of something you had said, now what was it?"
Clint: John sighs a little. "I was just having a chat with your boyfriend about you, Virginia."
Pepper: "Okay, and what did you say?" Pepper frowned.
Clint: John shakes his head. "I just asked him if he loved you and told him not to get you pregnant."
Pepper: Pepper glared at him. "I can't believe you!"
Clint: "What? I'm your father. It's almost a requirement." John tells her.
Pepper: "You're not allowed to scare any boy that I bring in here! God! Is this going to happen every time that I get a new boyfriend?" Pepper snapped.
Clint: "Of course it is, Virginia. I've got to be sure that they care about you and aren't going to hurt you!"
Pepper: Pepper rolled her eyes. "Clint does care about me, and just because he has potential to hurt me doesn't mean he will!"
Clint: John shakes his head. "I was just being sure that he did care about you and wasn't trying to just use you."
Pepper: "Well, good, you scared him!" Pepper growled. "So, is this going to happen all the time? Every guy I sleep with you're going to..." Shit. Pepper froze. She was not supposed to say that.
Clint: John puts down his coffee cup and stands up straight. "Every guy that you sleep with? Virginia, have you been sleeping with Clint?"
Pepper: Pepper sighed. "Yes. And he's not the first, so don't get mad at him."
Clint: John frowns. "If you're sleeping with him, he can't stay here." John moves to head up the stairs to kick Clint out.
Pepper: "Dad, no!" Pepper darted in front of him. "MOM!" She shouted, hoping that she'd be there instantly.
Clint: Ashley looks up when she hears Pepper calling for her, getting up and going to her. "Virginia? what's wrong?"
Pepper: "Dad's overreacting!" Pepper stood in front of her dad, blocking the stairs. "He's going to kick Clint out."
Clint: Ashley puts her hands on her hips. "John, what is this all about? We can't kick him out."
Pepper: John pointed at Pepper, "He's sleeping with her. She admitted it." Pepper rolled her eyes. "My god, dad. I'm seventeen!"
Clint: Ashley sighs. "John, lets not overreact, especially at Clint. This is partially Pepper's decision as well. Why don't we both come talk about in in the living room?"
Pepper: "Why don't we accept that my sex life is my business and not discuss it in an open forum?" Pepper sassed.
Clint: Ashley raises an eyebrow at Pepper. "You are still our daughter, and you are underage. Go back upstairs with Clint, Pepper. Your dad and I are going to talk."
Pepper nodded, tearing up and rushing upstairs to find Clint. "Hey."
John pointed at Pepper as she left. "I told you. What did I tell you?"
Clint notices her tears and stands up. "Hey. What's up?" he reaches up to gently touch her cheek.
Ashley puts her hands on her hips. "We were sleeping together when we were seventeen."
Pepper whimpered, moving in to hug him tightly. "My dad freaked out because I got sassy and let it slip that we're sleeping together."
John frowned. "I also had a mullet. Our decisions were not the best."
Clint hugs her back tightly. "Hey, it's okay. It'll be okay." He gently kisses Pepper's forehead. "I have the feeling he wants me to leave?"
Ashley shakes her head. "I think that you were a good idea. And even if we hadn't worked out, we were smart enough not to get me pregnant. Don't you think we should give Pepper the same consideration? She's a smart girl."
"He does, but my mom and I don't." Pepper hid in his chest. "They want to have a talk with us pretty soon."
John shook his head. "That doesn't mean we shouldn't have been doing it. I'm not condoning this."
Clint shakes his head. "If I need to leave, I'll go back to the academy. No big deal." He gently rubs her back. "I'll see you after break."
Ashley sighs. "John, we can't stop them; why not help them do it safely than fight them when we're obviously not going to win?"
"No. If you go back to the academy, I'm coming with you." Pepper shook her head. "I'm not going to stay here and fight with my family for Christmas."
John sighed. "Because it's foolish." He grumbled some profanities under his breath.
Clint shakes his head. "You should spend Christmas with your family. If I can't stay, it's not a big deal. I've never really celebrated Christmas anyway, and I can spend the time working."
Ashley sighs. "John, please be reasonable. She's already done it. She's going to do it again. I don't see how helping her be safe is foolish."
"I'd spend it miserable. It'd be me being angry with my dad, and fighting with him. If I were with you, it might not be the perfect Christmas with my family, and everyone, but we wouldn't be fighting." Pepper shook her head, slumping onto the couch.
"Well, I don't like it." John folded his arms. "And what are we going to do, go up there and toss condoms around?"
Clint smiles a little. "We might end up fighting. You know how we are sometimes." He sits next to her. "But it's really not something to be upset about. I can tell that your parents really care about you."
Ashley shakes her head and sighs again. "No. We're going to go talk to them about being responsible like the adults they nearly are, okay? And if they need them, we'll give them condoms."
Pepper shrugged. "I promised that I was spending Christmas with you, and I'm going to stick by that." She kissed his cheek. "I love you."
John grumbled. "You can do that. I don't want any part of that."
Clint smiles a little and leans against her. "I love you too. But I don't want you to miss out with Christmas with your family, when I'll see you next semester."
Ashley rubs her temples. "Please, John. For me?"
Pepper shrugged. "I don't know. I wont let them kick you out though, so we don't need to worry."
John sighed. "Fine, but I wont say a whole lot."
Clint smiles at Pepper. "I'm not worried." He tells her, kissing her cheek. "I love you."
Ashley hugs John and kisses him softly. "That's all I ask for."
Pepper smiled. "Love you too."
John nodded. "Let's get this over with, okay?"
Clint gently rubs her back. "Feeling a little better?"
Ashley nods and leads John up the stairs. "Hello you two, can we talk?"
Pepper nodded a little, taking a breath. "I'm okay."
John followed his wife upstairs, sitting on the love seat across from the sofa. Pepper looked over at him, and then at her mom. "Are we getting the safe sex lecture, or the abstinence lecture?"
Clint just gives them a nervous smile, and stays silent.
Ashley smiles. "If you can't tell by your dad's grumpy face, the safe sex lecture."
Pepper: Pepper almost chuckled. "Mom, we're always safe. We use condoms and I'm on the pill. I've been on the pill since spring."
Clint nods a little. "Pepper's always prepared, and I always have condoms if she forgets."
Ashley nods. "Alright. That's good. I'm glad that you're being so responsible. Just keep it up, okay?"
Pepper: "That's it?" Pepper asked, raising an eyebrow. "Just, keep up the safety?"
Clint: Ashley nods. "Yes, that's it. Don't get pregnant, don't get a disease. That's about it." She smiles at her. "You're almost an adult. You need to be able to make your own decisions."
Pepper: Pepper looked at her mom, and then her dad, and decided to push her luck. "So, does that mean Clint can stay in my room while he's here?"
Ashley sighs. "Let's try to not have you do that in the house, at least. He's fine in the guest room."
Pepper joined the chat 6 hours ago
Pepper: Pepper made a face. "To be fair, that mattress isn't comfortable." She pointed out. "And it's not like we'd be doing anything. We're not crazy."
Ashley looks over at John. "I don't want to make your dad too uncomfortable."
Clint shrugs. "I'm alright with with the guest room."
Pepper: Pepper stared at her dad, trying to glare him down. John sighed. "We can't stop you."
Clint leans against Pepper a little.
Ashley smiles. "We'll see you both in the morning, then?"
Pepper: Pepper nodded. "Goodnight." John hummed something, and headed downstairs, defeated. Pepper smiled and hugged Clint. "That could have been worse."
Ashley follows her husband, sighing softly.
Clint kisses her softly. "I thought so."
John kissed Ashley's cheek. "I'm going to bed."
Pepper hugged tighter. "I guess that means we won that battle."
Ashley kisses his cheek in return. "Would you like me to join you?"
Clint smiles. "I'm just glad I didn't get kicked out."
John shrugged. "If you want."
Pepper shook her head. "I wouldn't have let them."
Ashley sighs. "Please don't be mad with me about this."
Clint shrugs a little. "I wouldn't have let you fight with them."
"I'm not mad, I'm annoyed." John clarified.
Pepper shook her head. "At least we're not fighting too badly.
Ashley sighs and shakes her head. "They'll be alright, John."
Clint leans against her. "Yeah...."
"I still don't like it." John sighed.
Pepper kissed him. "So, this probably put a damper on our sex lives while we're here."
"I know, John. And thank you, for being reasonable."
Clint smiles a little. "We can still cuddle. That's more than okay, right?"
"I don't like being reasonable." John pouted.
Pepper hummed. "We can cuddle all you want."
Ashley smiles at him. "I know. But it's good for you."
Clint pulls her close and nuzzles against her temple. "Love you."
"Well, screw that." John grumbled.
Pepper hugged him tightly. "Love you more."
Ashley laughs. "And it makes your wife happy."
Clint shakes his head. "Lies."
Pepper: John sighed. "I'm going to bed."
Pepper smiled. "Well, then you must love me a lot."
Ashley smiles. "I think I'll join you."
Clint hums. "I do love you a lot."
John couldn't help but smile a little. "I love you."
Pepper smiled and cuddled up closer. "I'm glad you're staying."
Clint: Clint nuzzles her neck. "I'm glad I'm staying too. I think I'm gonna really like it here."
Pepper: "Now that we got our fight out of the way."
Clint: Clint smiles. "Now what? More movies?"
Pepper: "Movies, and making out." Pepper hummed.
Clint: Clint smiles. "I like that idea. Let's finish yours up, then."
Pepper: Pepper nodded. "Okay. Then you get to pick."
Clint: Clint nods. "Yeah, I know." He kisses her cheek and smiles. "Start it back up?"
Pepper: Pepper pushed play, smiling softly, plopping down and pulling the blanket over them again.
Clint: Clint pulls her close, watching the end of the movie quietly.
Pepper: Pepper grinned. "See, wasn't that movie cute?"
Clint: Clint shrugs. "I've watched worse." He kisses her cheek. "My turn?"
Pepper: "Your turn" Pepper grinned.
Clint: Clint heads over and picks out his movie, popping it in and heading over to Pepper. "No laughing." He warns, nuzzling her neck at the opening credits to Brave start up.
Pepper: "OOH!" Pepper bounced in her seat. "I love this movie!"
Clint: Clint blushes. "I thought you would," he says, hoping that it might cover up how much he likes it too. But Pepper seemed to know that he already loved Disney movies.
Pepper: Pepper hugged him tightly. "I love Merida, so much."
Clint: Clint smiles. "Like the archers, do you?"
Pepper: "What can I say?" Pepper grinned.
Clint: Clint smiles. "We are pretty fucking awesome."
Pepper: "Mm." Pepper leaned in to kiss him gently. "You're a sexy archer."
Clint: Clint kisses her back, chuckling. "I'm just sexy." He tells her.
Clint: Clint laughs. "You don't know if I'm sexy during archery. You still haven't seen me shoot."
Pepper: "I watched from the mezzanine." Pepper admitted.
Clint: "... Really?" Clint smiles a little, snuggling closer to her. "How'd I look?"
Pepper: "Really really hot." Pepper giggles.
Clint: Clint laughs. "Well, that's good." He kisses her temple and goes back to watching the show, happy.
Pepper: Pepper snuggled up. "It was great. I had this great view from your behind."
Clint: Clint laughs a little. "Were you staring at my ass?" he asks her.
Pepper: "Maaaybe." Pepper winked at him.
Clint: "I have the best ass," he tells Pepper, laughing and pulling her closer.
Pepper: "I've noticed." Pepper laughed. "It's even better without pants."
Clint: Clint laughs and kisses her softly. "Maybe I'll show it off later."
Pepper: "Mm, please do." Pepper slid her hand along his leg.
Clint: Clint kisses her cheek. "I thought we were watching movies right now," he states, but he's quick to pull her into his lap.
Pepper: Pepper gently guided his face to hers. "I believe the plan was, movies, popcorn, and making out."
Clint: "Then we should get to the making out part, I think." Clint pulls her down for a soft kiss, hands on her hips.
Pepper: Pepper instantly deepened the kiss, running her hands over his sides, and up his back.
Clint: Clint groans a little and pulls her a bit closer. "Love you, Sugar," he murmurs against her lips.
Pepper: Pepper moaned softly against his lips. "I have a feeling we're going to miss moat of the movie."
Clint: Clint smiles. "We can watch it another time." Clint grabs her hips and pulls them closer, kissing him again.
Pepper: Pepper kissed along his jawline, and up to nip at his ear.
Clint: Clint groans. "You're gonna kill me before the bad guys get a chance to," he tells her, laughing.
Pepper: "Oh?" Pepper kissed his neck, nibbling and sucking little bruises into his skin.
Clint: Clint tilts his head back, embarrassed by how hard he gets from her simply sucking on his neck. "Fuck," he murmurs.
Pepper: Pepper giggled. "Having fun there, big boy?"
Clint: Clint pouts. "That's not fair," he complains, before flipping them so she's pinned against the couch under him.
Pepper: Pepper laughed, and slipped her hands down over his ass. "Oh? What's so unfair."
Clint: "You figuring that out. I haven't found a spot that turns you on like that," Clint whines, kissing her cheek.
Pepper: "Well, you should try to find a spot then."
Clint: Clint laughs. "I guess I have time to find it." He kisses her softly on her lips. "I vote that I get hints, though."
Pepper: "hm. Maybe I will, maybe I wont." Pepper winked.
Clint: Clint sticks his tongue out. "It can only work out in your favor," he tells her, nuzzling her neck.
Pepper: Pepper smiled, stroking his hair. "But it's more fun to explore."
Clint: Clint smiles against her skin. "I guess." He nips at her neck, wondering how sensitive it was, or if he was the only one of them that had a super sensitive neck.
Pepper: Pepper giggled, wiggling under him. "That's one spot."
Clint: Clint gently nips at the skin before kissing up to right behind her ear, nuzzling the spot.
Pepper: "Mm, getting colder." Pepper patted his ass with one hand, tugging his hair gently with the other.
Clint: Clint smiles and kisses back down her neck before pulling away to slide his hands up her shirt lightly.
Pepper: Pepper giggled and jolted. "No, I'm ticklish!"
Clint: Clint smiles and tickles her, laughing.
Pepper: Pepper squealed, and jerked around wildly. "No no no!"
Clint: Clint laughs and stops tickling her to kiss her cheek. "Sorry."
Pepper: "Jerk." She laughed again and kissed him. "Try again."
Clint: Clint pulls off her shirt and undoes her bra, pulling that off as well before starting to play with her nipples. "How about an obvious place?"
Pepper: Pepper moaned, "Fuck, Clint." She giggled. "We need to move to my room. Not in here..."
Clint: Clint smiles and picks up her shirt, handing it to her. "Okay, let's move to your room, then." He laughs.
Pepper: Pepper shut the TV off, and dragged Clint into her bedroom. "Hurry up." She giggled, pulling him in for a kiss.
Clint: Clint follows her, kissing her back and closing the door behind him. He starts playing with her nipples again. "I think this is where I left off..."
Pepper: Pepper whined. "Clint..." She leaned against the door, holding onto him.
Clint: Clint smiles and runs his hands down her sides lightly. "Yes, Pepper?"
Pepper: Pepper moaned, shivering slightly. "Fuck."
Clint: Clint grins. "That nice?" he asks, running his hands back up her sides again.
Pepper: Pepper moaned again, shifting her weight to move her hips. "That tickles."
Clint: Clint chuckles. "But it made you moan," he points out.
Pepper: Pepper shook her head. "No. You're hearing things."
Clint: Clint shakes his head. "No I'm not. You moaned~"
Pepper: "Did not." Pepper said stubbornly, wanting him to keep touching her.
Clint: Clint laughs and runs his hands down her sides again gently.
Pepper: Pepper giggled, and wiggled under his touch.
Clint: Clint kisses her and starts to undo her pants to pull them off.
Pepper: "Mm." Pepper hummed against his lips, pulling him against her, holding tightly. "So mean. You keep tickling me." She teased.
Clint: Clint smiles. "I like how you squirm," he tells her, and pulls down her pants. "Come on, step out of them and sit down on the bed."
Pepper: "Ooh, giving orders tonight. I like it." Pepper giggled, stepping out of her jeans and heading over to sit on the edge of the bed, kicking her socks off.
Clint: Clint crawls into the bed and gently runs a hand up her thigh. "Thought you wouldn't mind too much, Sugar."
Pepper: Pepper moaned softly, biting her lip. Both the instructions, and Clint's touch on her thigh were getting Pepper going.
Clint: Clint smiles. "Like that, Sugar?" he asks.
Pepper: Pepper grinned. "Meh, could be better." She liked giving him a rough time.
Clint: Clint shakes his head and pinches her thigh. "Fine, I don't have to do it."
Pepper: Pepper squeaked, and jolted. "No, not fair!"
Clint: Clint raises an eyebrow. "Oh?"
Pepper: Pepper moaned. "Pinch me again, please." He had a sharp pinch.
Clint: Clint smirks and pinches her other thigh. "That good?"
Pepper: Pepper squeaked again. "Mm."
Clint: Clint laughs and leans down to give her a harsh bite on the inside of her thigh.
Pepper: "OOH!" Pepper squealed. "Fuck."
Clint: Clint pulls away. "Where else do you want me to bite you?"
Pepper: "Everywhere..." Pepper couldn't pick a place to start.
Clint: Clint laughs. "Okay, biting is a turn on. Check."
Pepper: Pepper giggled. "I told you I was more of a masochist than I lead you to believe."
Clint: "That's okay. I think I would like biting too, so." Clint shrugs and kisses her firmly.
Pepper: Pepper grinned. "I'll have to remember that for tomorrow night." She returned the kiss greedily.
Clint: Clint laughs and pulls away to pin her against the bed as he starts to bite her, starting at her neck and working his way down her body.
Pepper: Pepper wiggled and moaned loudly, rolling her body under his.
Clint: Clint smiles and sits up when he gets down to her thigh. "Feel good, Sugar?"
Pepper: "Yes." Pepper whined loudly. She glanced over at her bag sitting at the bottom of her closet. "There's some things in that bag if you want them."
Clint: Clint nods and gets up to go through the bag. "I hope that you're planning on using some of these things on me at some point." Clint pulls out some handcuffs. "I want to use these," he informs her, giving her a chance to say no.
Pepper: "I was, yes. I'm looking forward to it." Pepper smiled gently at his soft tone. "I'm giving you full permission to do anything you want with me unless I use our safe word."
Clint: Clint smiles. "Awesome." He walks over to her and kisses her softly. "You'll be good for me tonight, right?" Clint hooks one wrist in the handcuffs.
Pepper: "Why? Are you going to punish me if I behave badly?" Pepper grinned at him, shifting to get more comfortable before he finished cuffing her.
Clint: "Yeah, I am." Clint winks at her and runs the cuffs through some gaps in the headboard before attaching it to her other wrist. "I like you like this."
Pepper: Pepper laughed. "That's not a very good argument for my good behavior." She looked up at her handcuffs. "Could you wrap something around the slat on the bed? I don't want to damage it." Pepper felt herself turn pink. "I like you making me like this.."
Clint: Clint grabs some scarfs and wraps it around the wood. "More worried about your bed than yourself?" Clint leans down to kiss her when he's done. "Good." He runs his hands down her chest and stomach lightly.
Pepper: Pepper kissed him hungrily. "My damages will heal. The bed can't." She pulled at the cuffs, trying to get more, when he touched her. "Clint..."
Clint: Clint smiles at her. "Yeah, Pepper?" He scratches down her sides hard.
Pepper: Pepper moaned loudly, arching her back.
Clint: Clint smiles and kisses her right above her belly button. "You look awesome with scratch marks."
Pepper: Pepper hummed. "I look good all the time. Marks just accent it a bit more."
Clint: Clint laughs and pulls down Pepper's panties. "That's true. I always think that you look awesome."
Pepper: Pepper gasped at the cool air hitting her damp pussy. "I don't think I said you could do that." She sassed, putting on the part of a bit of a brat.
Clint: Clint shakes his head and pinches the inside of her thigh. "Be good," he tells her again. "Or I'll gag you."
Pepper: Pepper inhaled sharply at the pinch, and made a face at him.
Clint: Clint just gives her a smile in return and throws the panties aside, crawling between her legs and leaning down to kiss her. "Love you."
Pepper: "Love you." Pepper smiled gently at him, pausing a moment. "I want you to hurt me."
Clint: "Yeah? How do you want me to hurt you, Sugar?" Clint asks.
Pepper: Pepper arched her back again. "I don't care, anything!" Just the thought of him biting her, or whipping her, spanking her, was starting the fire in her stomach.
Clint: Clint laughs and kisses her cheek. "One of these days, I wanna take an arrowhead to your skin and slice it up. Just a little, so you'd bleed for me." He smiles at her. "That sound good to you? Not tonight, but eventually?"
Pepper: Pepper moaned, hips rocking at the thought, "Yes, please..."
Clint: "Awesome," Clint purrs, kissing her. "Tonight, I'm gonna see if there's anything in your bag first, and if not, improvise." He moves to grab the bag again and go through it really quickly.
Pepper: Pepper smiled and nodded. "There's plenty of things in the bag."
Clint: Clint pulls out a flogger and smiles a little. "I want to try this. Roll over." He bumps her on the side, telling her to roll onto her back.
Pepper: Pepper wiggled, and struggled to roll over, biting her lip. It was difficult to roll when she was tied down.
Clint: Clint helps her roll over and runs his hands down her back. "Hope you're comfortable." He falters for a moment. "Um, I've never used this before, but the idea is kinda simple..." Clint gives her a light whack with the flogger, getting used to the feel of it.
Pepper: Pepper groaned, the light thud of leather against skin was ecstasy. "Not too much on the ribs, and be careful with your aim." She taught him. Working as Grey's demonstration sub had taught her a lot.
Clint: Clint nods. "I don't think my aim will be a problem. Where to aim might be a bigger one, though." He takes another, harder swing, avoiding her ribs.
Pepper: Pepper jerked, pulling on her cuffs. "Fuck, Clint..." She moaned softly, into the bedding. "Feels so good."
Clint: Clint gradually gets harder, trying not to hit her too hard, being sure that she was still moaning and not sobbing in pain or anything.
Pepper: Pepper groaned loudly a few times, gripping the chain between the handcuffs. "Please Clint..."
Clint: "What do you want, Pepper?" Clint asks, stopping flogging to run his hands over her reddened skin.
Pepper: "I need you to fuck me, please." Pepper moaned. She was obviously dripping with her excitement.
Clint: Clint smirks a little and rolls her back over before moving to grab a condom, ripping it on and rolling it on before crawling over her and slowly pushing into her. "Fuck, I love you."
Pepper: Pepper whined loudly as he entered her easily. "Fuck, I love you so much Clint."
Clint: Clint starts to fuck her hard, moaning as he does so. Clint grips her hips hard to hold her still.
Pepper: Pepper cried out, arching her back and clutching at the bedding. "Clint, fuck, please."
Clint: "Gotta be specific, Sugar," Clint tells her, holding her still as he fucks into her hard.
Pepper: "More! Please!" Pepper begged.
Clint: "More of what?" Clint slows down in his fucking, now slowly pulling all the way out before pushing back in.
Pepper: "No." Pepper groaned. 'Fuck, please, harder Clint." She rocked her hips back against him.
Clint: Clint smirks and holds her hips still, still going slowly. "No."
Pepper: "Clint!" Pepper moaned, "Please don't stop..."
Clint: Clint leans down to give her a quick peck on the lips before starting to pound into her again. He stops after a moment, though, to change position, as his muscles were getting a little sore.
Pepper: Pepper moaned again. "Clint...god, You're so terrible, just please fuck me."
Clint: "Alright, all you had to do was ask nicely." Clint starts to pound into her again, letting out a moan.
Pepper: Pepper groaned, burying her face in the bedding, trying to hold her hips still like he wanted.
Clint: Clint slows down just a little so he can grab her nipples and twist them harshly.
Pepper: Pepper screeched, jolting back into him. "Clint!"
Clint: Clint smirks and rolls them between his fingers as he moves. "Yes, Pepper?"
Pepper: "Fuck, fuck, fuck" Pepper moaned, clenching around him a moment.
Clint: Clint groans when she tightens around him and tugs harder at her nipples, his pace picking up just a little more.
Pepper: Pepper began to spasm around Clint, moaning loudly as she came.
Clint: Clint pulls out after she comes, stroking himself and moaning. He tenses up and comes into the condom. He pulls it off and throws it away, legs a little shaky.
Pepper: Pepper hummed softly, holding still until he untied her. "Fuck, Clint. I love you so much."
Clint: Clint opens the handcuffs and leans down to kiss her softly. "Love you too, Pepper."
Pepper: Pepper wrapped her arms around him tightly, and slid under the covers. "Climb in here, big boy."
Clint: Clint pulls away to put away the handcuffs before crawling into the bed with Pepper. "That was fun."
Pepper: Pepper curled up next to him, resting her head on his chest. "Very fun. I'm going to be sore in the morning."
Clint: Clint runs his hands through her hair. "Yeah? Hope your dad doesn't notice you limping." Clint teases.
Pepper: Pepper chuckled. "I can blame it on sleeping in a funny position."
Clint: Clint laughs a little. "There's always that." He kisses the top of her head.
Pepper: Pepper smiled. "This is nice.'
Clint: "We should probably put on some clothes, though." Clint pulls her a bit closer.
Pepper: Pepper hummed. "Why? my pajamas are all the way over there."
Clint: "Because your parents are going to come wake us up in the morning."
Pepper: "No they wont. They never do. They just let me sleep." Pepper chuckled.
Clint: Clint shakes his head. "I'm putting on boxers, at least." Clint moves out from under her and goes to pull on his underwear.
Pepper: Pepper chuckled. "while you're up, why don't you pick something for me from the second drawer down. It's got all my pajamas and lingerie in it."
Clint: Clint pulls out some pajamas for her and hands her some before crawling back into the bed.
Pepper: Pepper pulled the top over her head, and shimmied into the shorts. "Thanks babe." She smiled, shutting her eyes. "This was a tiring day."
Clint: Clint kisses her cheek. "But could have been a lot worse." He tells Pepper.
Pepper: "That's true." Pepper chuckled. "I didn't think my parents would discover that I'm not a virgin like that."
Clint: Clint shrugs a little. "... Sorry. You didn't have to yell at your dad, though."
Pepper: "Yes I did. He was being an ass to my boyfriend."
Clint: Clint shakes his head. "Not that much of an ass..."
Pepper: "He was going to kick you out for sleeping with me. That's an ass."
Clint: "He's your dad, he cares about you." Clint nuzzles her hair.
Pepper: Pepper groaned. "I know, but that doesn't mean he has to be a jerk to you."
Clint: Clint smiles. "It's something I'm used to, not a big deal." He kisses her cheek. "I love you."
Pepper: "Love you. And he's still a jerk." Pepper pointed out.
Clint: Clint shakes his head. "He just cares about you is all," He tells Pepper.
Pepper: "I know. But he's stubborn." Pepper made a face.
Clint: Clint kisses her softly. "Totally not like someone I know."
Pepper: "I at least admit to my stubbornness." Pepper chuckled.
Clint: "That's true." He pulls her closer. "I'm going to sleep, now."
Pepper: "Mmm. I'm not too far behind you." Pepper murmured.
Clint: Clint snuggles a bit closer and soon drifts off.
Pepper: Pepper was asleep almost instantly.
