Summer Blowout - Recap
For a quick summary of the event, check out Measure for Measure.
Alessia was in an empty and locked bathroom of Cyprus. She paced back and forth as the music pounded through the walls, debating on what she was about to do. It’s not a problem, she convinced herself. Lots of people did cocaine at parties. She neatly drew a line in white powder on the clean granite counter, inhaling it with one of her rolled up twenties. She rubbed the residue on her gums and just breathed for a moment, letting the drugs hit her system before she even thought about going back to the party. As the chemical taste dripped down the back of her throat, she smiled. She’d be able to get through the night, at least. Thoughts of Julianne melted away as she unlocked the door and was hit by the wall of sound and sweat.
Elizabeth was already a bit drunk from her pre-game as she walked into the overly crowded club. Cyprus was no Illyria, that was certain. If anything, it was a bit run down. Certainly not at the same level as the other Castle establishment, or even the clubs at The Athenian. Confident no one really knew her association with the Montgomery clan, Elizabeth went to the bar and ordered (one of her many) favourite drink. “Scotch on the rocks. Double.”
Nathan knew that showing up was probably a bad idea, but there was no way he could resist seeing the Castles prance around. With so many Montgomerys in attendance, Nathan felt safe. He sipped on a cocktail as he saw a wave of people flood in.
Cassandra was grateful for the open bar. She had never been a big fan of those social events. She looked at her watch, wondering if Willow would come at all.
Katia Costa convinced herself to attend the Summer Blowout tonight after hours of self-debating. When Marcel and her struck up a plan to take shifts of when to attend, she was grateful to end with an agreement. He would take the first shift of caring for Lyanna, and Katia would be able to take the second. It's not like Katia was going to stay for long.
Elizabeth saw a blonde a few seats down at the bar, looking at her watch. She moved closer to her once she got her drink and smiled. "Waiting for someone special?"
Adeline swayed her hips to the music, the music seemingly flowing through her body. When Cora had told her she had to leave her for an hour or so to help the event manager, Addie had promised she'd wait until she came back to hit the dancefloor... Looking back, that promise was too ambitious. The music was simply infectious to her.
Isaac Isaac's eyes swept the room. They had a pretty decent turnout, as usual, and Cyprus looked great thanks to the work Caroline and her team had put into this event. He leaned against one of the walls and watched everyone go about their business, dancing, drinking, it looked like fun. He made his way to one of the waitresses carrying a tray of drinks and took one with a smile.
Cassandra was surprised when she realized that the woman was talking to her. "No, I guess not." Willow and her hadn't really talked about the summer blowout but Cassandra was still expecting her to show up.
Alessia when Alessia saw her brother, her coke had certainly set in. "Don't drink too much, brother of mine. Don't want to make yourself an easy target."
Lincoln felt awkward and out of place. His suit wasn't even tailored properly. He sighed, pulling out a cigarette.
Cameron had no intentions of staying home this evening. Instead, he decided to gussy on up and make his way over to the Castle shindig. Was it smart? No, absolutely not. But he made up his mind and decided to do it anyway. If he could have, he would have kicked open the doors and shimmied his way in, but instead he casually strolled in with Sloan. He nodded for her to go off and do whatever she wanted as he made his way directly to the bar. "What's up, bitches?" Cameron called, his face clearly showing way too much excitement for a Montgomery in Castle territory.
Elizabeth smiled sadly. She couldn't tell whether the woman was disappointed or apathetic at the thought. "That's alright," she said. "Looks like there's plenty of people around to keep you occupied."
Isaac smirked when his sister warned him against making an easy target of himself, "Don't worry, Lees. This is only my first. I think we all know that Castle's have high enough tolerances to have one drink and not lose our heads."
Caroline: She was more than excited for the evening; she had worked so hard the last month or so, for this event to come on without a hitch. So far, so good. The blonde twirled her index finger in her Cape Cod, before rising the drink to her lips and downing, down; most of the fierce liquid. She gazed around to see some smiling faces and her eyes saw that most people were impressed and chattering amongst their groups. Internally, Caroline was beaming, giving herself a pat on the back; on the outside she gave a coy smirk. Idly, she wondered where she siblings were romping around during this event.
Indiana hadn't fully intended on coming here, but word hit around the Montgomery locations that a few family members and loyalists were planning on attending, even if they hadn't been invited. Thus, here she was... feeling a bit under dressed - not like she cared what the Castle's thought of her, however. Standing at the front of the crowd, the brunette then grabbed sipped at her drink and shrugged. "So this is what they call a party?" She let out quietly, but loud enough for anyone standing beside her to hear.
Katia Costa Katia stepped into Cyprus feeling slightly out of place. She had not attended something so grand since before she had Lyanna. It was an estimation of eighteen months. It was going to be an interesting night for her no matter what. Making her way to where she spotted Caroline, she smiled at the blonde. "You did an amazing job like always. I don't know how you do it."
Alessia shrugged. "I guess you're right about that," she said, taking some champagne. "Have you seen Liam around?"
Cassandra tried to put a smile on her lips. She had grown accustomed to fake her way through everything and this wasn't any different. "Mhm. Looks like it. Tell me, are you one of these people willing to keep me occupy?"
Sloan walked alongside Cameron Montgomery, sauntering off once they had made their appearance together. She noticed a familiar brunette and approached her. "It's boring, and the guys are gross. Ugh. Why did we come here again?" She told Indiana.
Adeline lightly shoved the random drunk, dancing man away from her, sending him stumbling in the opposite direction. She decided that as fun as dancing was, and as good as the music felt, she needed a bit of alcohol in her system to be able to deal with the most annoying of the intoxicated. Addie headed off the dance floor, picked a champagne flute off a passing tray, and stood to the side of the room.
Elizabeth leaned on the bar, looking at the woman. "I could be."
Caroline: Coming up beside her was, none other than Miss. Costa, herself. Surprised, Caroline raised her brows before offering Katia a grin. "Surprised you got Lyanna in the hands of someone other than yourself, but I'm glad you made it!" The blonde said with a little shock in her voice, before grinning wildly. "Thank you, really. I work extremely hard on these things; it's nice when someone takes notice. "Caroline loved the praise. It made her work all the better, not that it was hard. Things of these nature came easy to her.
Isaac shook his head, "I haven't. Have you two been here long? Maybe he went off to find some food or a drink or something? Or lord knows the man smokes an awful lot for a doctor. Maybe he just stepped out for a moment."
Alessia shook her head. "I didn't come with him. I don't even know if he's coming."
Cassandra was trying to place this woman. Was she a Castle loyalist? Cassandra couldn't remember seeing her before and she looked familiar at the same time. "Well, let me know when you'll decide."
Indiana turned the moment she heard a familiar voice filling the air. "I guess we overestimated the Castle's.. Bad mistake on our part. Hopefully it picks up soon, and if not, I'm sure people will be headed to the door in no time. Not surprised though." She responded back as she smiled over at Sloan.
Rafael had been called in to attend the Castle event. He wasn't particularly happy about it, but he knew the girls there would need protecting in case anything went south. He stood in the back, eyes on Montgomerys that were in attendance.
Elizabeth smirked a bit. "I'm Beth, by the way. What's you're name?"
Isaac smiled at his sister reassuringly, "I'm sure he's here somewhere. It doesn't seem like him to just leave you hanging all alone. I'm sure he'll pop up."
Phoebe shot a sideways glance at the guest fishing out a cigarette. He looked about as enthused as she felt, but at least she had managed to school her features into her "work face." Pretty and approachable. She looked pointedly at the smoke detector above the guy's head. "Less than a stellar place to light up.."
Alessia frowned, taking a sip of champagne. "I kind of hope he doesn't, to be honest."
Cassandra: "Beth. Hate than name. Sounds so goody. I feel like you're going to invite me to your church bake sale." Cassandra took a sip of her champagne. "I'm Cass."
Cassandra "Beth. Hate than name. Sounds so goody. I feel like you're going to invite me to your church bake sale." Cassandra took a sip of her champagne. "I'm Cass."
Isaac looked taken aback, "Oh really? Trouble in paradise?"
Sloan shrugged, grabbing a glass of champagne. "All I know is that if some cute faces don't make an appearance soon, I'm ditching my date and finding some better company." She grinned, taking a sip. "Did you come with anyone?"
Cameron spotted a target. "Raffie! Hey there," Cameron called, pushing his way through the crowd to Rafael. He purposefully spilled his drink down the front of a woman's dress. "Nope, sorry babe. Not licking that up. Whoops." He pushed his way through harder, practically falling on Rafael. "Hey babe. What's going on? Here with the ladies?"
Elizabeth raised her eyebrows at the woman. "Is that so? Well, Cass isn't much better. Very school girl."
Alessia shook her head. "No, nothing like that. I just have a bad feeling about tonight, is all."
Cassandra "True. Parents are never good at giving out names, are they?" Cassandra liked the fact that the woman had come back with something too.
Rafael chuckled as he spotted Cameron. It was difficult to miss someone with such a big personality. "Yeah. Babysitting, I guess." He shrugged. The idea of grabbing some alcohol was tempting, but he knew better than to do that when he was on the job. "What about you? Saw you walk in with that hot escort chick."
Indiana simply laughed at her words, for she felt the same way, honestly. "Fingers crossed they are coming fashionably late." Though she figured it to be doubtful. "Nope, not tonight. I figured my brother would be here, and didn't want to well.. work.. in front of him. - Who did you come with though? Anyone interesting?"
Caroline: The blonde made her way from the bar, over to her siblings; Isaac and Alessia, spotting them through a small hole in the crowd. Coming up next to Alessia, Caroline grinned at both of them. "I haven't heard how wonderful my event came out, from the both of you? Whats up with the glum atmosphere?" She raised her brows, looking between them.
Adeline sipped on her champagne, feeling the most sophisticated she had ever been, new dress giving her a boost of confidence she needed in this unfamiliar setting. From her spot to the side of the dance floor she let her eyes wander around the room, and spotted a familiar face from The Hub. Cecilia. One of the drug manufacturers that supplied her, and made the possibility of even owning this expensive dress possible. Deciding she'd prefer to strike up a conversation with the woman than stand by herself, she headed over.
Elizabeth shrugged. She didn't mind her name. It provided a plethora of different aliases that all tied together with a common thread. "Maybe so, but it's all about how you rock it."
Helena walked into the venue with her head held high and her standards higher. She smiled as it seemed like everything was running smoothly. She grabbed a champagne flute and turned around, only to spill the contents on someone. "Oh jeez, I-I'm so sorry." She grabbed a napkin and handed it to the person, "At least champagne is a neutral color."
Cameron shrugged. "You could have been on my arm had I known you were coming, good sir." He couldn't help but laugh at the idea. "But I wouldh ave mae you wear a dress, naturally. And Sloan's hotter than you are. Sorry." He handed Raf his half-full glass and nodded. "You can have this to dump on whomever you'd like. I'll be having fun seeing if I can score a good shot on Marcy. That is, if he's man enough to show. Mr. Mom seems to be losing his touch." Placing a hand over his heart, he sighed. "Thank god I have no child things. I'm not cut out for it."
Isaac smiled as Caroline approached them, "Alessia has a bad feeling and she can't find her man in the crowd," he reported to Carrie.
Katia When Katia made an entrance into Cyprus, she was quick to search for anyone that she knew. When she spotted the Castle siblings near the bar, she walked over to them with a small smile. "What an event. Great job, Caroline."
Cassandra smiled. "Oh tell me sweet Beth, how do you rock it?" Cassandra looked around the room, making sure that Willow was no where in sight. To hell with her. This was a party and Cassandra wanted to enjoy it. With or without her girlfriend.
Alessia hit her brother's arm. "I'm very glad he's not here. But, it's a pretty rocking party."
Sloan nodded. It was strange. Sloan was so open and confident in her profession, but she understood Indi's reasoning for not wanting to work while her brother was there. "I came with Cameron Montgomery. You know he's always been the cutest one in the family." She shrugged, sighing. "Totally casual though. I guess we're supposed to be working the floor?"
Caroline: Groaning, Caroline nudged Aless in the waist. "Be positive. I worked hard for this to be a scum free event." She frowned before letting a smile out at Katia. "Thank you so much! I surprised you came, you are a mother Lion when it comes to Lyanna." She commented before looking back into the crowd and looking at Alessia. "Liam will come. He's being fashionable late."
Cecilia chatted a couple of people up, smiling politely as she looked around taking in the party as a whole. Spotting Adeline heading her way, she excused herself from the person she was talking to and met her halfway. "You just saved me from having to rudely walk away from them," she grinned at the younger girl. "Look at you, looking as beautiful as ever."
Elizabeth smiled. "By being the opposite of the name's connotations." She wondered exactly who she was talking to. In the crowd she was in, it could be absolutely anyone.
Rafael laughed, entertaining the idea of attending with Cameron. And then he imagined himself in a dress. He shook his head immediately. He accepted the drink, but simply held it up for show. He wouldn't drink while he was working. "So? Is there a game plan for tonight?" He asked after he mentioned Marcel. "I mean, I'm guessing we have all this muscle here for a reason."
Isaac turned to Katia, "Is Marcel enjoying a Dora marathon with Lyanna?" he asked her. He assumed that one of them would be with her at all times and he hadn't seen his brother yet tonight.
Alessia eyed her sister. "Scum free? I saw Cameron Montgomery not five minutes ago," she scoffed. "No, he won't be coming at all. I'll will it to be true. I am, however, so glad that you could make it," she said, touching Katia's shoulder.
Lincoln looked up at the smoke detector above his head, a little puzzled. "I'm sorry?" He quirked a brow. "Are you an arsonist or some shit? You look too young." He noted, taking a drag from his cigarette.
Cassandra "Does that mean you're the devil?" Cassandra leaned close to Beth and stopped for a fraction of a second. She then reached for a glass of champagne next to her on the bar. "Cheers!"
Katia Rolling her eyes playfully at the words that came from Caroline, she shrugged her shoulders. "Your big brother can take some time for now." Looking at Isaac, she smiled wide. "He is loving it. Already singing along to the songs."
Caroline: looked at her sister and her eyes widened with annoyance. "Cameron Montgomery is here?" Her voice was raised just slightly, before crossing her arms. "Security was supposed to be high..." Her eyes wandered to Isaac and Alessia before sighing. "I'll be back. I'm going to talk to mom."
Elizabeth turned her head to the side slightly as their faces got close. "And what if I am?"
Indiana couldn't help but almost choke on her drink when she mentioned Cameron being the cutest in the family. Unfortunately, Indi had never looked at any of them that way. "Cameron? Well, uh.. I mean, he's better than the rest, I'll give you that. Especially when it comes to Nikolai." Though Indi was biased there. "Working the floor? Shouldn't be too hard. Now that we are here I'm sure most of these people will actually have some fun. Now just who to talk to first..."
Caroline: made her way through the crowd. Many praising her and telling her that they were doing to write checks for the cause for tonight; but Caroline's misson was a bee-line to her mother, who was at the bar. "Mom." Caroline grinned, before closing her eyes. "Can I talk to you in private please?"
Cameron shrugged. "Of course there is a plan. There's always a plan. Sometimes I haven't concocted it before I get myself into these situations, but whatever." He smiled, knowing what he said was a full on lie. Cameron made plans to make plans. He planned his pre-planning sessions two months in advance. He never didn't have a plan or a back-up plan... or even an evil Plan Z. "Just hang tight. I don't need anything from you right now. Just feel out the sitch, and keep the ladies happy?"
Isaac Isaac ran a hand through his hair and sighed. Maybe he should have had more than one drink. He turned to Alessia, "Do you want me to go see if I can find Liam?" he asked, "If I don't find him then I'll let you know and you can quit worrying about it."
Phoebe 's lips twisted slightly. "Yes, I get joy from lighting fires. Watching things slowly turn to ash is the only way I feel alive inside." She watched the faint burning glow of his cigarette, thoughtful. "At least if your cigarette sets the sprinklers off, everybody gets to go home..." She mused with a pleased smile.
Adeline smiled when Cecilia met her half way, and laughed at the woman's first statement. "Well then I'm glad I headed over! I never know whether it's polite to join group conversations in these semi-formal settings or not!" Addie blushed at the woman's compliment. "Thank you! You're looking gorgeous too, though that's no surprise! I'm glad you managed to make it tonight- I'm not exactly familiar with many faces here, so it's absolutely fantastic to see you!" She beamed at Cecilia.
Alessia shook her head. "I'd rather not know."
Cassandra: "Well if you are, I might be tempted to worship at your alter." This night might not be so bad after all.
Isaac Isaac shrugged, "Suit yourself then," he turned to Katia, "Up for a drink on your big night out?"
Helena nodded, "I-is everything alright?" She asked her daughter. "What happened?"
Katia Katia sent a short glare toward Isaac. "You act as if I never get out of home. But yes."
Sloan laughed at her response. "You seriously have never ranked the Montgomerys in hotness? What do you do on slow nights?" She laughed, bumping shoulders with her playfully. "Pick a cute guy. Or girl. Not that there's a lot of fish in the sea here, but whatever."
Caroline: pulled her mothers wrist, ways away from the crowded area of the club and placed her head in her hands. "Cameron Montgomery is here!" She yelled in a whisper, before biting onto her lip. "If he's here, then more will follow. I made security on high detail and those fuckers still get in." She breathed heavily before her frantic eyes looked towards her mother. "What do we do? We have to do something?" She said, before hissing out. "They're asking for it." Her eyes glared
Isaac "You act as if you do. When was the last time you went out, without a stroller!" Isaac countered as he headed towards the bar.
Alessia sighed. "I'm going to the bathroom," she said as she walked away from her brother and pseudo-sister-in-law. The bathroom, however, was not as empty as it was earlier. It was filled with drunk girls fixing their running eyeliner, crying about how they can't find someone to fuck them. She locked herself in one of the stalls and did a small bump of the coke left in her vial.
Lincoln looked down at the girl, smiling. He lifted his cigarette up to the smoke detector playfully before putting it out. "So, did someone drag you here? You don't look too amused."
Cecilia chuckled lowly and lifted a delicate shoulder. "Saving grace," she replied with a wink. "It's always polite when you know someone there." Ceci smiled and looked down at her dress. "Gracias, gracias. We can stick together until you get tired of this old lady and find someone fun.”
Rafael looked around, noticing Phoebe talking to someone that he wasn't familiar with. His body tensed up, and he kept his eyes on Phoebe as he spoke to Cameron. "Gotcha. Just let me know whatever you need. I got you covered, man."
Cora: Cora finally had somewhat of a break. Snagging a flute of champagne from a passing waiter, she sipped on it and waited for her date Adeline to finish her tasks.
Katia "The other day actually. I had to make a stop at the grocery store." When she arrived at the bar she smiled wide thinking that was good enough.
Helena was dragged into a secluded area. The minute she heard Cameron's name slip her daughter's lips, her heart began to pound in her chest. She should have known. Yet, seeing her daughter in distress put all of Helena's worries second. "Listen to me." She placed her hands on Caroline's shoulders. "We could've had C.I.A here and those idiots still would've let a Monty in." She seethed through her teeth. "Do your siblings know?"
Isaac Isaac leaned against the bar and looked out at the crowd again as he spoke to Katia, "Oh my apologies. The grocery store is such a hot spot. I can't believe I questioned your party cred," he said sarcastically.
Indiana took a moment to answer her question. Honestly, on Indi's slow nights she found herself trying to get ahold of Austin, or reading.. Though she wasn't going to tell Sloan that. "Well, I mean, I have. But I guess I take personalities into account to? Okay so my number one on just looks though.. I guess it would be a tie between Noah, Cameron and possibly Grayson. And that's only for the guys." She answered honestly, with a smile to follow. "Hmm.." Indi looked around the room before spotting someone not too far from the bar, and pointed. "Her."
Elizabeth 's mouth opened a bit at the woman's words. Her charms never failed her. Still, she had to keep her wanting more. She pulled away from the woman and went back to her drink. "What do you do in life, Miss Cass?"
Adeline lightly swatted Cecilia's shoulder. I could never get tired of you! Besides, I'm sure you know me well enough now to understand that so long as I'm able to talk, and you're able to respond with at least a nod, I could ramble all night!" She laughed at herself. She'd come to accept she could ramble for hours, and didn't think it was the worst trait she could have, especially around friends. Eyes drifting a little, she spotted Cora, and waved at her, hoping to catch her attention. She didn't know if Cecilia and Cora knew each other, but they were loyal to the same family, so she didn't think the action would cause any trouble.
"Well if this is the party of the summer, color me unimpressed," Gigi announced to no one in particular, though speaking loud to draw attention. The drink in her hand wasn't hers, though she doubted anyone here would have served to a Montgomery. "Not even sparkles."
Katia "The grocery is so a hot spot. You just don't know because you never go grocery shopping. You probably have someone do that for you." Reaching for a champagne that was available, she raised it, "Prepare yourself, you are gonna see me complete a mundane task of drinking."
Caroline: looked at her mother and took a deep breath. Nodding, she groaned loudly with a roll of her eyes. "I did the best I could... but those fuckers are instant on making a nice charity event a bloodshed, hmm?" Closing her eyes, she pinched the bridge of her nose and then smiled at her mother. "It's fine! We can handle it... I'll call Daddy and Aaron and have more reinforment and it all will be okay." Caroline was hoping that Aaron would rip one of those fuckers apart, even Isaac. Would be nice for ruining her event. "Yes, Aless told me actually... she's had a bad taste in her mouth about this event from the begining... everyone has. I just wanted something nice, clearly we can't have that." Caroline laughed while taking out her phone. "We can handle it, we're Castles." She grinned at her mother, whom she thought she was so much like.
Cora: Cora sauntered over to where Adeline was with Cecelia. "Hi, date," she teased, extending a hand to Cecelia. "Cora. I don't think we've officially met," she introduced.
Cameron nodded. "Don't worry, Raffie. I'll text you if I need you. But you're good. Enjoy yourself a little too. All work and no play makes Raffie a very dull man." Cameron winked and headed off to find someone else to amuse himself with. He was pleased that so far, he'd been unharrassed by Castles. Sad, really.
Phoebe didn't return the smile. In fact, her expression almost bordered on sullen. "More or less. I'm here on business?" She had taken Sonya's advice, perhaps against her better judgement, and was now missing the quiet of her little apartment. "I'm an adult entertainer. Or whatever the rest of the world likes to call it. What about you? You attend a lot of these?"
Cassandra wondered if the woman was taking the bait. Cassandra started to wonder if this interaction was more likely to end with Beth asking for her phone number than sex. Cassandra didn't do dates or secret phone call. "That's a very boring question Beth. I don't really do boring."
Sloan raised a brow. She had forgotten all together about Grayson. "Grayson's cute. Noah's okay. He's so broody." Sloan licked her lips, eyeing the woman that she pointed to. "She's super hot. I might consider her to be my conquest for the evening. I mean... unless you want to try and go for it?"
Lincoln raised both brows. "Oh. And what kind of adult entertainment would that be? All kinds? I'm not interested, by the way. Just curious. I'm taking it that means you came with all the other Montgomerys?" He cleared his throat, shaking his head. "I came alone. Don't know why. Bad idea."
Elizabeth smirked. "Boring's not all bad. Not unless you want to rush to the good part. That is what's truly boring."
Helena nodded at her daughter, "That's my girl." Helena smiled, "Just know this isn't your fault. Those Montgomeries couldn't follow direction even if it was law. Your father and Aaron will handle this. I don't want to bring Isaac into this. So please, use him as a last resort." She inhaled and exhaled deep soothing breaths, "Remember, don't show fear. Smile and breathe, we can handle this."
Cecilia laughed and nodded her head. "That is why I like you, okay. You can talk my ear off, that's fine." She noted the wave to another younger girl, she'd seen her before sparsely. When she got closer and introduced herself, Cecilia shook her hand and dipped her head. "Nice to meet you Cora, Cecilia. Date? Now I don't want to be a third wheel to you lovely ladies..." she teased as she trailed off.
Indiana simply smiled at the women, then laughed softly. "I think they all are at times. I would be too though if I lived their life." After picking, Indi watched Sloan's reaction. "No no, by all means you go for it. You're the expert here, after all. So if you want to go for it, then she's all yours."
Nathan had just walked out of the bathroom, walking over to the dance floor. He wasn't much of a dancer, but he was in search of Audrey. He checked his phone - no new messages, but a picture of James from the sitter. He smiled, locking his phone back up and looking around, hoping to spot Caroline Castle.
Isaac raised his glass to Katia, "To the mundane at of drinking then," he said.
Cassandra was starting to loose her patience. "Here's the thing Betty. I don't do small chat. I don't do sweet talk either. If you want someone to sweep you off your feet, look somewhere else. But if you want someone to rock your world in bed, than cut the crap."
Rafael was a little thankful Cameron had walked away. Not because he didn't enjoy his company, but because that meant he could finally go find Phoebe. He set the half spilled drink down on a random table, approaching Phoebe. "Did you come with this guy?" Raf asked, a little puzzled. That was his own subtle way of asking if there was a problem.
Elizabeth rolled her eyes. "No games? No fun."
Alessia comppossed herself and walked out of the bathroom, high as a fucking kite.
Cora: "We don't mind, you're cute," Cora told Cecelia with a giggle. She spotted Cameron there. What was that clown doing? She promised aunt Helena that she'd stay out of trouble but it was hard when he was there.
Katia took a sip of her glass before a question came to mind. "Where the hell did you leave my brother tonight?"
Caroline: nodded firmly, smiling at her mother. "I don't have any fear..." She stated, "Just an annoyace with this damn family. They need to be erradicated." She stated before leaning in to give her a mother a quick hug. "I can try, but no promises; you know how Isaac gets when we're all involved. He's protective. Not a bad thing," She commented before looking down at her phone and texting Aaron Where are you? SOS The trash is here, before looking up at her mother. "I texed Aaron, hopefully he'll get right on this. "
Cassandra "I already got a woman at home and enough games for a lifetime." The thought of Willow brought a pang in her heart.
Adeline smiled at Cecilia's lovely comment, and then laughed at Cora as she approached with a "hi date." She watched the women introduce themselves, and nodded in agreement with Cora when she said Cecilia could stay. "I'm not a believer in the whole 'threes a crowd' saying"! She nudged Cora playfully, but then realised she had a worried look on her face. "You okay, Cors?"
Gigi: Gianna wandered through the party, her eyes scanning the faces of Castle loyalist and the not so much, her gaze settling onto the familiar features of her older brother. "What game do you have planned tonight?" she asked, falling by his side.
Isaac shrugged, "I'm not his keeper," he said. He was looking around, making sure nothing big was going on that needed dealt with. It still looked pretty calm, so he took another sip of his champagne.
Helena gave a small smile. "Let's just get back out there and show face before they think we're divided and cowards." Helena straightened her posture and was ready to walk out there before she turned to her daughter. "Was Isaac wearing that suit jacket with the... Uhm... Colors?"
Aaron was already a bit drunk when he walked into the party, though it was a state that he constantly lived in. It was already in full swing. He could smell the unwanted Montgomery musk, but when he spotted one of them, his rage went into full swing. He’d recognize the mug anywhere. It was the last face he saw enter Illyria before the night of the fire. That walk he took, that night, it was ingrained into his mind forever. Aaron had done his research. The fact Nathan Harding had the gall to step foot in a Castle club after what he did was wrath inducing. His temper fuelling his actions, Aaron stormed over to the man and punched him directly in the jaw. He grabbed Nathan’s collar before he could stagger too far back and pulled out his gun, pressing it hard on his temple. “Who the fuck do you think you are? Coming in here after what you did?” The two men were in such close proximity, Aaron didn’t notice the crowd of innocent bystanders, people totally unaware of mob dealings, staring. He was too wrapped up in what he was doing. When he pulled the trigger, Nathan’s blood spattering on the floor, the DJ cut the music. “What?” he questioned one of the gawking party-goers. “You don’t fuck with my family.”
Phoebe schooled her features into a blank expression. "Not anymore. I dance, get naked, and people shove money at me." She shifted her weight to her other foot and looked around the room, surprised (and also not) to see Rafael walking towards her and the guest. "Hello to you too." She muttered at Rafael's lack of greeting. "And no, I didn't. Mr. Cigarette and I are cool, though." Her voice was nowhere near the usual cheery lilt of her working voice, a little peeved that she felt like she was being chaperoned at a high school dance. Granted, she was still a teenager, and this place was significantly less safer than Ephesus.
Cora: Cora nodded, keeping her eye on Cameron. "I just saw this gross guy that I don't like much," she assured her friend. She'd promised Helena that she'd stay away from any Montgomerys.
Vivienne It had taken Vivienne only one step into the club to be overwhelmed with the transformation inside of it. Letting out a low whistle a grin quickly replaced the awe previously on her face. "Carrie really out did herself." She said to no one in particular, gliding slowly across the room, letting her eyes take in every inch. Her sight not only took in a beautiful room but beautiful people as well, this was a Castle function after all. Not paying attention to where she was going accidentally bumping into someone. "Oh sorry, my bad."
Katia "Sure about that? You two are always together. Would not be surprised if you two came out to me as lovers." Placing on his shoulder, she got serious. "It's okay if you do love him. There is nothing wrong with loving another man. My brother will take care of you."
Nathan didn't even have time to react. He felt the cold end of a gun pressed to his temple, and that was it. Nathan's body instantly went limp, falling to the floor. Nathan had been a loyal, faithful man, and his only regret when he died was not getting to tell his son or fiance goodbye.
Adeline Addie missed the man's dramatic entrance, but she certainly didn't miss the moment he pulled the trigger, the sound instantly catching her attention. She turned away from Cecilia and Cora to stare, horrified at the blood on the floor as the music stopped. Her hand dropped unconsciously to her handbag, where her own gun was hidden.
Alessia was way too high and far too unarmed to deal with this shit. She was, however, grateful when it was Aaron holding the gun. Her first instinct was to find her brother. Isaac would have a gun.
Isaac was about to make a witty comeback to Katia's comment when he heard the gunshot. "Fuck me," he whispered under his breath, "Stay here," he said to Katia as he pulled his gun from the holster on his hip and headed towards the sound. He saw the body on the floor and Aaron talking to the crowd, "What the hell, Reed?" he asked the man
Cassandra heard the shot being fired, her body took over her mind. She looked around and saw Aaron standing amidst a crowd of people. If he had been the one firing, Montgommery's were in here.
Caroline: smiled at her mother before smoothing out her dress. "We are Castle women. Unbreakable. " Nodding, she thought back to what Isaac was wearing before coming out beside her mother and scanning the crowd. "Blue... classy dress. He is handsome, and doesn't look like a clown. Make sure to compliment him." Caroline said before she could heard Aaron screaming in the midst of the crowd. Automatically, she ran too; hoping her mother would follow before she gasped at a Montgomery Loyalist on the floor. Of course, hot-headed Aaron could never handle things calmly. She gazed at him before letting out a deep breath, not knowing what to do at all. She just stared back and forth between the two men.
Rafael instantly pulled Phoebe away from the stranger, roughly pushing her towards a table. "Get covered," he said, eyes searching for the other workers.
Aaron took a breath, his anger fizzling down. "This prick set the fire."
Erin hadn't been spotted by literally anyone, which was okay by her. She was just small enough to go by unnoticed and to be honest, it didn't matter to her what kind of party it was. She just wanted to get lost. By the time she was on her third shot, she was a lot far gone, but that was interrupted, of course, but a loud bang and Erin heard the music get cut. Seeing blood on the ground, she gasped. It was Nathan. What had happened? Her eyes widened, shaking her head. More blood. More violence. She rooted to her spot, unable to move.
Helena heart's raced as she heard the gunshots. She followed her daughter before covering her eyes at the man on the floor. "Oh, christ..." She scanned the area for the rest of her children, "Caroline, the kids..."
Caroline: she gazed back, stunned, before rage filled her. Her eyes began to water, but she held them back. Giving Aaron a smile. "Is he dead, if not... make sure he is." She breathed before looking away looking at her mother. "Fuck the kids, for now. I want him dead."
Cameron heard the commotion, and for some reason he wasn't surprised by the action. He pushed his way through the crowd towards Aaron, his smile completely eradicated from his face. The gun in his suit jacket was a good choice, as usual. He pulled his weapon and held it out. "Aaron," he said calmly, almost as if reproaching a child. "This is a very interesting turn of events, and I have a few questions for you while my boys collect dear old Nate's body."
Isaac stopped dead in his tracks. He didn't know what exactly to do, he looked around, hoping his father would emerge from the crowd. When he didn't he cleared his throat, "When did you learn that?" he asked Aaron, trying to sound at least mildly in control of the situation.
Alessia got lost in the crowd, trying to find her family.
Cecilia giggled at Cora's remarked and held a hand over her chest. "Well, then. I guess we can make this a good time." She watched the interaction between the two girls before hearing the commotion, craning her neck to see her eyes widened at the outcome. A gasp coming from her lips and she took a sweep of the place looking for her brother and aunt. As a reaction, she got in front of the younger girls, for what? She wasn't sure. She was on high alert for anything that was surely going to be the result of this.
Katia had heard a disruption and when Isaac walked away pulling out a gun, she knew for sure that something was wrong. Never liking to be told on what to do, always stubborn, she followed behind only to see two males; one alive and one possibly dead.
Sloan jumped at the sound of a gunshot, immediately grabbing Indiana's hand and rushing behind the bar. At least there was booze there.
Adeline watched the exchange of words, a gasp leaving her upon hearing the dead man had set Illyria on fire. She tugged Cora back, almost without thought, as Cecilia stepped in front of them protectively. A rush of admiration swelled through her at the woman's move, but she didn't give it much thought, too involved in assessing what the hell was going on, and figuring out what she should be doing.
Aaron shook his head. "I blew his brains out, Carrie. He's not comin' back," he said, cooly. "I walked by the club that night. Before the fire. Saw him walk in. When I couldn't place him, I--" But, he was cut off when Cameron Montgomery pointed a gun in his face. "The fuck are you even doing here, man? You should've figured this shit would happen," he said, more relaxed than ever.
Indiana 's stomach dropped the moment she heard something loud go off behind her. She knew that sound before. Scared, she had cut the laughing with Sloan, and turned to face it. Everyone had began to scream, and as she looked down at the blood covered floor, she followed it to a familiar face. She felt immobilized at the sight, and the first thing that came to mind was Audrey. "Dear God..." She began before moving closer even though it was a bad idea. But how could he not? Her close friend's husband was lying dead on the floor. Nonetheless, she stupidly stood by, though not too close, seeing as though this feud clearly wasn't over.
Phoebe didn't scream at the gunshot's crack, but she managed an indignant yelp when Rafael unceremoniously shoved her towards a table. She scowled, but she couldn't ignore the frantic pounding of her heart as she stood next to the table. Logically, she should have taken cover, but she couldn't bring herself too. She was too busy trying to scan the chaos to determine the source of the gunshot. Too short. "What's going on?" Phoebe asked the older man, voice less than steady.
Gigi: A curse fell from her lips as the gunshot sounded, the remainder of her drink swallowed and the glass slipping between her fingers, shattering below her feet. "Time to make my exit," she decided, slipping between the crowd through the commotion, pausing only as her brothers voice called out. She glanced back and forth, from the door to the scene below. She already had a criminal record; this was not the kind of scene to linger within, but still... She fell within the crowd, in silence, watching.
Caroline: was already shocked and peeved enough. She needed everyone to leave. Guns being pointed, men yelling. It was so fucking stupid and she was so over it. Watching closely, she wanted all the Montgomeries dead. The one responsibile was. Now they all needed to go down.
Cameron nodded. His face remained blank, but his voice was silky smooth. "Of course I knew, Aaron. Don't you think I'd want someone to keep the peace. I'd like to collect the body, ensure that everything is cleaned up, have a little chit-chat, and we'll be on our way. This..." he motioned to the gun. "I don't want to use it. What I do want is our business to be kept between us, and not mixed in with a little police here an there. So if you will, please allow my own men to deal with this little thing." He kept his gun pointed where it belonged. He knew it wouldn't be wise to drop it, but he did not lie when he said he had no intention of using it.
Adeline was terrified. She knew getting involved with drug dealing, with the Castle family, was going to be dangerous, but she didn't sign up for witnessing the death of a Montgomery, let alone probably getting killed in some crossfire shootout. She tugged on Cora's hand, indicating she wanted to get out of there. "I'm getting the hell out of here guys." She spoke loud enough so that Cecilia heard too, but no one else. She slowly moved to a hallway near them, hoping they would follow, and hoping to get out of the way of whatever crossfire might be exchanged. She pulled her gun from her bag, just in case.
Helena shook her head as she stepped beside Aaron. "Enough!" She snapped. She couldn't have more blood on her family's hands, "Both of you. Stop it. Stop it right now." Helena pointed a finger at Cameron Montgomery, "You, put that gun down." She was seething in her stance, protectively putting her hand out in front of Aaron, "I will not ask you twice." She nodded at the body on the floor, "You may clean this up. But clean it up and leave. Now."
Vivienne: The young blonde began to hyperventilate as she watched through fearful eyes as Aaron pulled out a gun barely a foot away from her. Her mouth opened slightly to ask what in hell he thought he was doing but in a blink of an eye the trigger was already pulled and blood covered not only the front of her dress but her face as well. So warm that it felt as if it were burning her skin, a scream ripped through her vocal cords, hands shaking by her side as she watched in stunned silence as another gun was whipped out, this time on Aaron. "I....I...." Vivienne began backing up as her chest began to tighten making it harder for her to breathe.
Rafael lowered his weapon when he saw that Cameron had approached Aaron. Perhaps things wouldn't go to complete shit. "I'm not sure," he told Phoebe. "One of our own is dead," he managed to confirm, eyes on Cameron. "Are you okay? Do you see any of the other girls? We should go."
Aaron made an advance on Cameron. "Listen to me, you little shit. Do whatever the fuck you want with the waste of space, but don't pretend to be all high and mighty. You fucks can't come here. Not after what you did and expect--" As Aaron was cut off by Helena, he scowled a bit. Though, he had to concede to the boss' Mrs. Even if it might kill him.
Cecilia tried to usher the other girls aside, away from any misfires if it came to it. When Addie spoke up, she simply nodded glad she took the high road and left. Slowly, she slinked off towards Katia when she made sure Cora was semi-okay.
Isaac 's gun was still in his hand as his mother confronted Cam. He heard a scream beside him and turned to see his sister... covered in blood. He didn't want to leave the situation, but someone needed to help Vivienne. He swore under his breath and hurried over to her, pulling her into a hug, "You're okay, Vivi. You're okay," he said.
Lincoln was used to hearing gun shots go off outside of his neighborhood. But he knew better than to stick around and wait to get fucked. He sighed, nonchalantly backing up towards the exit.
Erin stayed behind the bar, trying desperately to get a signal on her phone. Damn it. She should not be here. She saw Cameron with a gun and that was enough to make her want to go over there, out of protection, but of course she wouldn't. She didn't belong over there, so instead she stayed hidden, keeping her eyes peeled on the scene, thankful when Helena Castle got involved. Cameron, get out of there. Please. She begged in her thoughts and finally, got a signal, calling her driver to come and get her.
Caroline: was too distracted with the information that was just handed to her. She stood stoic, unable to move; but the rage inside her built. She turned to the other guests and began to raise her voice. "I need the rest of you to clear out. Leave! Now!" She yelled. Tomorrow, this would be front page news. Great, just fucking great.
Katia felt the presence of someone beside her and turned her attention over to see who it was. Thankfully it was only Cecilia. "Oh my, you are here." She took a deep breath not sure if she was even breathing properly with what is occurring in front of them. A Montgomery just died. This is what she sees when she goes out. When the voice of Caroline was yelled, she knew leaving would be for the best. "Cecilia, we should probably go. Want to join me out?"
Cameron nodded. "Of course we can't, but we still do. That's beside the point. What did he do?" Cameron nodded toward the place where Nathan's body lay. "What was the purpose of this? It's for bookkeeping. And I do get to tell the grieving widow and his son what he died for. Closure would be nice for them."
Aaron rolled his eyes. "I'm sure your step-father uncle knows all about it."
Cameron nodded. "Well, that's fantastic. But I'm not my uncle-step-father. So I'd like to know from your point of view. I mean, you killed a man in front of all of us. So it should have been worth it, right?"
Caroline: piped up at Cameron's words. "That fucker started the fire, that almost killed me." She growled.
Vivienne The young blonde almost screamed as she felt someone pulling her towards them until she recognized her brother's voice. "Isaac, god, Isaac! He's dead isnt he?!" A part of Viv didn't even want the question to be answered wanting to be lied to. That Aaron hadn't just killed someone in front of her and that this party wasn't getting out of control. But once she heard Caroline's voice cutting through the rumble of the party goers, telling everyone to leave she knew that wouldn't be the case. "I told you guys this party was a bad idea." She choked out through tears.
Cecilia took Katia's wrist in a way that was meant to be comforting. Her face grim and eyes alert as she looked around, Caroline's voice was obviously one they wanted to heed. "Let's go before more shit goes down."
Cameron nodded once again. "You satisfied now? Recompense and all that?" He looked at Caroline, making mental notes. "Are we agreed on keeping law enforcement out of this?"
Helena nodded, "We keep the feds off this."
Gigi: Gigi sighed looked down at the party. "Too much talk," she decided, growing uninterested at the standstill they'd fallen in, turning her head and ducking out of the party before the sirens or paparazzi could surround the scene.
Katia nods at Cecilia and vanishes with her friend through the exit not wanting to see what else could come from this. "And they say New York is better than Mexico."
Caroline: raised her brows and scoffed a little. "Feds off, like my mother said. Pick up your shit," Her eyes gesutured to the dead body on the floor, before going back to Cameron. "And leave."
Cora H: Cora saw Vivienne begin to cry and, forgetting all her bitterness, ran to her cousin's side. She herself was in shock after what went down, but she needed to be there for Vivienne. Putting an arm around her older cousin, Cora rubbed her back comfortingly.
Isaac smoothed Vivienne's hair out of her face. He remembered saying earlier that he didn't want to lie to his little sister, "Yeah. Vivi, he's dead," he said, keeping his voice calm and monotone, "You were right. You were definitely right." he said it to make her feel better. he knew aaron would have done this if the party had happened or not. it was inevitable. he listened to Caroline and his mother deal with the crowd and lead Vivienne towards the edge of the room where the tables were set up, he helped her sit down.
Isaac Isaac turned to Cora, "Do you have her?" he asked his cousin, wanting to get back to the main group with his mother and Caroline if someone would be there for Vivienne.
Cora H: Cora nodded, motioning to where her aunt and cousin were. "I have her," she assured Isaac, stroking Vivienne's hair. Was she still mad at Viv? Maybe, but her cousin needed her. "Don't look," she whispered to Vivienne.
Isaac Isaac rushed over to where his mother, Aaron and Caroline were dealing with Cameron. He heard Caroline tell them to leave and he nodded in support, aware he was a little late to help out.
Victor: The boss was working til the last minute, overseeing a few things that had to be taken care of urgently, and on top of that there was terrible traffic getting into the area. Not in a great mood to begin with, Victor told himself that he'd put on a nice face for Helena and his family. What he didn't expect was to see his youngest daughter crying in the middle of a swarm of people. Victor could tell by the atmosphere of hysteria that something was wrong. He ran over and stooped down to look at his daughter. "What the fuck happened?!" He turned to roar at Isaac. "Sweetie, it's okay. It's okay." Was all he could say regarding the situation he had no information about.
Cameron sighed. "Shit's already been covered. We will be seeing you again. Glad to see the Castle princess has been properly appeased." His face went back to his normal smiley routine. "Toodles." With a small wave, he stepped back, falling quickly into the crowd of Montgomery loyalists leaving. He did indeed feel bad for Caroline, but not enough to say a word about it. He had a bigger mess to deal with, and a fire of his own to start with his uncle.
Isaac cringed at the roar of his father's voice, "Why don't you fucking ask Reed," he said.
Vivienne: Vivienne let herself be lead to a chair in the corner of the room, her heart still pounding furiously in her chest. How was everyone else so fucking calm right now? A man had just died! She didn't care whose side he was on, this wasn't the type of stuff that should happen at parties. Watching Isaac walk away Viv leaned against the touch of her cousin, trying her best to keep from looking over at the body and the commotion. "Cora I was so closed, I was so closed I could see the light leave his......oh god. I want to go home."
Caroline: let out a huff before smiling sadistically and nodded. "Completely appeased." She said before going over to her father and Vivi, Caroline rand her hand through Vivi's hair; kissing the top of her head to make her feel a little better before turning to her father. Caroline only smiled, still slightly in shock of the situation.
Phoebe moved from behind the table to stand next to Rafael, her arm almost brushing his. "I think I saw some of the other girls crawl behind the bar." She exhaled quietly, trying to juggle her current emotions of fear and exhaustion. The crowd was quickly dispersing, none of them eager to become the next casualty. "Yeah. Yeah, I want to go." Her voice with taught with adrenaline as she spoke. What a terrible idea. What a terrible nght
Victor: Victor gave Caroline a quick kiss on the top of the head, thrilled to see that she was alright. "Someone find Alessia." Victor ordered, to no one in particular. "Is someone going to tell me what the fuck happened?! Why is my daughter covered in blood?" The mobster boomed, turning to look at his best friend and Consigliere, who was lighting a cigarette.
Helena felt her body tremble as she swayed against the rush of what happened. She needed to find her her other sons and daughter, even young Cora whom she remembered talking to earlier. She scanned the area and slowly walked to her family, seeing her daughter in Cora's embrace. "Vivi..." She made it halfway, until finally collapsing on the floor. A ringing in her ears as she heard the echoes of a single gunshot. "Fucking..." She kicked off her heels and pushed herself up, grabbing onto the nearest chair for support.
Alessia shook her head, her senses exploding. All the cocaine in her system was making her react even worse to the situation. She needed to leave. Now.
Cora H: Cora nodded, she was lucky that she was far enough away. Sure, she was glaring at that nasty Montgomery underboss, but she didn't see when Aaron shot Nathan. "Do you need a bag or anything?" she asked, wanting to make sure that she was comfortable before noticing her Aunt Helena. She was caught off-guard by Helena swearing, but that didn't matter right now. Cora ran over to help her aunt to the best of her ability. "Do you need me to do anything, Aunt Helena?" she asked. She was a little girl, but she had to be there for her family.
Rafael took a moment, looking Phoebe over once. She was fine, but he still worried. "Okay. I have a car up front. I'm gonna grab the girls, and then I'll be there." He walked away from her, looking for Elizabeth, Sloan, and Indiana.
Caroline: leaned into her father's kiss. Her eyes scanned the room and sighed, "Aless was with Isaac last... she's safe. I know that." Caroline commented to her father before gazing at Aaron before back to her father. "Mom, Aaron and I did damage control with Cameron Montgomery. It's fine... for now."
Isaac nodded at his father's order to go find Alessia and he headed out into the dwindling crowd. He was running at this point, hoping he could find her before something bad happened to her as well. When he finally stumbled upon her he groaned, "Are you honestly fucking high right now?" he asked, but he shook his head before she could answer, "Never mind. It doesn't matter. We need to get you cleaned up, or you need to go home. Dad wants to talk to all of us and he can't handle this right now."
Helena pulled her niece into a tight hug, at least she was alright. The woman released her from her embrace and examine Cora, "No, no. I'm fine. You? Are you alright? Are you hurt?" Her questions exploded from her.
Vivienne Still shaken up from everything that was happening the blonde was barely able to keep up with her surroundings. Seeing her family members around her but never quite being able to hear what they were saying, as if she were there but not at the same time. The blood was beginning to dry against her skin, clothes, and hair and she was trying her best not to think about it. A shower she needed a shower, and to breath. The air was so, her father's voice cut through her panic. "Aaron.....he.....dad he shot some guy....he said I dont even know....something about him starting the fire. And....." Her attention immediately went to her fallen mother, "Mom!"
Alessia was shaking and tears were starting to form in her eyes. "Don't yell at me!" She said, staggering away from her brother. "I'm fine. I'm going home. Tell dad whatever the fuck you want."
Caroline: watched as her sister floated to her mother, a complete mess. Now, she would really be against the family buisness. Caroline just sighed before closing her eyes. "Aaron show a Montgomery Loyality whom he found out started the fire. Shot him, blank in the head. He's dead." Caroline deadpanned.
Isaac took a deep breath, "Okay. I'm sorry Lees. I didn't mean to yell. Let's get you in one of the cars... I'll tell him you must have left early." He lead his sister towards the front of the club.
Alessia nodded. As Isaac led her out of the club, she thanked him as she got in the car.
Victor "Good." He looked at Caroline, nodding once thankful that she was there to catch him up. "I just wished he did it a little farther away from Caroline's dress." Victor swore he was going to have a heart attack listening to his daughter speak, pulling her into his chest as he tried to steady his breathing. "It's okay baby. You're okay. I'm here no-.." Victor's voice trailed off as Vivienne called out for her mother, she followed her gaze. "Helena!" He boomed, heart in his chest at the sight of her on the floor. He rushed over, maneuvering around Cora and kneeling in front of his wife. "Helena. My love. Are you okay?!"
Cora H: Cora hugged her aunt, nodding. "I'm fine, I was with Adeline and Cecelia when it happened. I saw Cameron Montgomery and I was going to ask him what he was doing here, and then I heard the shot and... everything happened so fast. I'm alright, though," she assured her aunt, wiping some of the blood from Vivienne with a napkin. "He started the fire. It's over now. He's dead," Cora assured Vivienne, not sure if it'd help. Pausing, she looked her cousin in the eye. "Do you want me to stay with you for the night?" she asked.
Aaron finished his cigarette and walked over to the family. "I'll pay to have it dry-cleaned," he said when he heard the mention of the dress.
Isaac called after his sister as she climbed into one of their cars, "Text me when you get home safe!". He watched as her car pulled away. When it was out of view, he took a deep breath and launched his fist at the wall of Cyprus. When his knuckles met the concrete they split open a bit, he swore violently, but he calmed his breathing before heading back in to find his family. He walked up to report to his father, "I called Alessia when I couldn't find her. She left early. Before all the chaos broke out. Wanted to get home to see if Lincoln was there." he lied
Helena: "I'm glad you're alright, Cora. You're a brave girl." She tore her gaze away from Cora at the sound of her daughter's cry. "Vivienne! Victor!" She shot up embrace to embrace the husband that appeared in front of her. Her body trembled with aches and shivers but she had to be strong especially for the kids, "I-I'm fine. I'm fine." She turned to Vivienne and pulled her into a hug, "Are you hurt? What did you see?" She feared the worst for the two girls beside her. She knew the strengths of her other children but these two next to her worried her most. She still had to find Alessia and Isaac. "Where are the others?"
Caroline: just nodded, before watching her family console the distraught Vivienne, she looked over towards Aaron. "I'm leaving. Thank you." She offered before going over to her family and coming to the side of Isaac. Cora was helping the puddling mess that was Vivienne, and saw her parents scrambling to get everything in order. "I'm sorry you had to see that, Viv." She mentioned before looking at her parents. "I really... need to go home. So I'm going to leave, if that is alright with you." She asked, raising a brow. Just wanting this night to be over with.
Victor Victor gave Aaron a quick glare at his smartass comment, but didn't say anything to him. He wasn't exactly upset to hear a Montgomery man was dead. "No one is going home. Everyone with the last name Castle is staying at our house tonight. That
Victor is final." Victor ordered.
Helena grabbed Caroline and pulled her into a tight embrace. She thanked the stars that Caroline wasn't harmed. She released her daughter and stood beside her husband, taking one if his hands for support, "Agreed. Especially those that came out of my stomach."
Caroline: sighed, placing her hand on her hip. Her fathers word was final, and she wasn't exactly in the mood to protest wanting to go back home... but she did. So, she protested anyway. "I'll be fine at my own apartment, daddy. Take care of Vivi and this... mess." She gestured to the blood splattered floor.
Isaac Isaac nodded, "Fine, but I don't think we need to call Alessia from home, do we dad?" he didn't want his father to find out her sister was using. Not tonight of all nights. "If she's home with Liam we could just send some security over there or something..."
Vivienne Vivienne didn't have time to reply to Cora as her mother pulled her into an embrace. The youngest Castle clung to her trying her best to snap out of it. Yesterday her father had asked her to be strong and here she was falling apart. "I'm fine, are you okay?" She asked in return before pulling away to face everyone else. Listening to her father demand they all stay at their house. "I'll....I'll meet you guys there. I just need, I need some air or something." Being inside of this place felt suffocating and she couldn't stop repeating the image of the man hitting the floor in her head. Fisting her hands by her side to stop them from quivering.
Victor Victor took his wife's hand and kissed it quickly, before holding it to his chest. "You heard your mother. Call Liam and make sure he's with her."
Caroline: half smiled and nodded at Isaac's request. "We should definiately have some detail over there.... was Aless okay?" Caroline asked Isaac, before looking at her parents.. hoping they would let her go to her apartment in the Castle Towers. She was only a level or two down.
Cora H: "I'm glad we're all alright, Aunt Helena. Could've been much worse," Cora smiled weakly. "I think I'll go home with you guys for the night," Cora agreed, thinking that it'd be better than catching a cab back to listen to Elena ask her if she was high. "Do you need me to go with you, Viv?" Cora asked genuinely, reaching for one of Vivienne's balled fists in an effort to calm her down. "If you need to be alone, I understand."
Helena noticed Vivienne's distress and gently rubbed her daughter's back, "I'm fine and you're going to be fine to, alright? I promise."
Isaac "Last time I saw her she was fine," he lied with a shrug, "I think she was just missing Liam. She kept saying she was glad he didn't come to the party because she had a bad feeling. It must have gotten the best of her." He pulled his phone out of his pocket to see if Alessia had made it home or not. He dialed Liam's number and listened to the dialtone.
Caroline: huffed. "Make sure to telll her to call me later when I get home." Caroline needed to talk to Alessia about tonights events
Liam had just gotten in his car, about to leave the hospital after being called for an emergency, when his phone began to ring. He grabbed it out of his briefcase, but instead of Alessia's name, like he'd expected, he saw Isaac's. Why was Isaac calling him? He hit the green button. "Hello?"
Isaac "Liam? Are you at home?" Isaac asked when the other man answered the phone, "Alessia left the party early to look for you and I was just wondering if she found you."
Liam frowned. "No, I'm just heading out now. She knew I had to cancel. Is everything okay?"
Isaac couldn't help but chuckle, "Not exactly," he answered, "but Alessia is fine. I'm sure you'll hear about it later. Sorry. i have to go." he hung up and turned to Victor. "Liam isn't home. I could go over there if you want."
Helena snapped her attention to Isaac, another child she'd yet to see. "Isaac!" She snapped, pulling him into a tight embrace. "YOU'RE alright, right? Nothing broken?" She asked, examining his face
