Ringing in the new year on tumblr... So I'm thrilled.
Cheap Skate
Cannot believe that I went out tonight with barely any predrinks, no money at all and only had 1 drink all night. Surprisingly, I actually had quite a good time, despite the club not being my favourite and the music not being fantastic.. The only good thing I can say about asylum is the sound system being top notch, especially for bass tunes. I actually think the walk home was most amusing part of my night! Now I'm laid in bed with ringing in my ears and the only thing that would make this better is having him here to warm me up.
Later on we decided to check out Istanbul’s night life by doing a Birthday pub crawl! We visited a few bars before landing on Bar Rasputin, which was a Turkish Heavy Metal bar, where we met “Anton” who was already a good 5 or 15 pints into his night. We had some light conversation with “Anton” and before too long he was buying us drinks (we didn’t even mention Lach’s birthday). Try as we could, we couldn’t stop “Anton’s” overly generous nature. He even bought us Bar Rasputin T-shirts! What a guy!
We then moved on to a slightly lighter atmosphere where a guitar and violin duo serenaded us.
A round of kebabs closed the evening.
Somehow I managed to spend a grand total of £14 on a night out returning at 4am including £4.80 bus fares and £4 club entry... Yes for stealing other people's drinks!!
Excited for a 'suzie can get absolutely steaming on a fiver' night out tomorrow! Otherwise known as a Thursday.
Reasons why I really just had the best night: Cheap drinks + free entry= happy drunk grace JAKE CONVINCED MY THREE LADIES TO COME OUT EVEN THOUGH THEY HAD WORK IN THE MORNING Successfully avoided people I dislike (especially certain young first timers in civic who make me cringe) Danced with the most hilarious Maori dude from Brisbane Two words- jelly wrestling Protected my women from a fight in Mooseheads And the rest ill keep to myself :P
I want to see a movie tomorrow.
