This workout was hard. It was circuits, and my trainer has started to increase the difficulty of the workouts. I also did 4 sets for the first time, rather than 3. While it was interesting to see how I’ve gotten faster, I also noticed how heavy and weak my body felt. I believe it was a direct correlation to how much junk food I ate over the weekend. 

My trainer was kind but firm on the diet. I should treat myself that way as well - if ONLY to avoid making very unflattering grunts in front of everyone...

Anyway, I got on the treadmill after getting my thighs and abs destroyed, and for the FIRST TIME EVER, got up to 8 and jogged for a few minutes. I count that as an improvement, and I definitely felt more accomplished afterwards.
