getting back into check please has been so weird bc the line between cannon and fannon is just so thin it is impossible to know what is actually part of the source material

the comic is easy enough to check but the tweets? the update notes? the extras that only some ppl have actually read? word of mouth from ngozi???

whoever came up with the term omgcp hivemind was correct bc like p much all the fan interpretations are in line with each other but how much those things actually line up with cannon? who knows

anyway tell me your favorite thing that you think fans just decided was true bc you never actually saw evidence for but maybe it's from somewhere. I'll start: Kent's cat is not actually named Kit Purrson

She had spent so many years being pushed by captains and coaches, so many years being yelled at to be better and be stronger. It didn’t matter that she was Bad Bob Zimmermann’s kid, she was still a girl. No matter how fast she was, how many goals she scored and records she broke, no one managed to see past her physical features. Every loss, every failed pass, every penalty, every aspect of the game went back to reflect poorly on her. When she saw Bittle’s shortcomings; her inability to take a check without crumbling, it was some failure on her part.

or: a (mostly) gender swapped exploration of saying goodbye, moving on, and preparing for a life outside of security. OR: jack's realization that leaving samwell won't be as easy as it seemed (as if it was easy to begin with)
