i’m disturbingly inactive on this app but like many others the omgcp renaissance has brought me crawling back to my abandoned fic wips and this blog that i tried (+ failed) to maintain!

trying to be active again...sooo here is a poem i wrote about nurseydex almost two years ago now :)

there was a funny moment in my life where i was really into 9-1-1 the tv show while simultanously being into omgcp (this is actually a constant for me) and i ended up putting together this detailed crossover AU where after uni dex joins the los angeles kings as a free agent and nursey moves with him to LA, where he decides to become a firefighter and joins the 118 station

my concept would be that because dex is not out, they keep the details of their relationship a secret, but obviously nursey can't hide the fact that he's dating his college sweetheart who is a menace and so grumpy and difficult and annoying but also the Love Of His Life. everyone in the 118 is like omg 💖 gay love 🥰 introduce us to your boyfriend! and nursey says i would love to but he's just so busy with his work.........

some funny hijnks in the middle like maybe one time halfway through work they stop at nursey's place to pick up something and he lives in this huge amazing house in manhattan beach. everybody’s like dude... how do you afford this... and nursey says it's because of my boyfriend.... he works in finance..... and then nobody asks any further questions because finance is boring

months passing by and people starting to worry that nursey's boyfriend doesnt actually exist because he never brings him over, he has no photos of him on social media, plus he sounds too good to be true like hot and rich and willing to listen to nursey talk about poetry (the Love is Real y'all)??? yeah very questionable

anyway anyway eventually dex feels bad nursey has to hide his relationship from the world's gayest firestation and makes it to a party at bobby's place where absolutely no one recognises him until one of the kids walks into the room and he's like IS THAT WILLIAM "DEX" POINDEXTER, ALTERNATE CAPTAIN FOR THE LA KINGS AND LEADING DEFENCE MAN IN POINTS IN THE NHL SEASON 2017/2018? and yeah. it is.
