contrary to my owl hyperfixation (i blame my OC for that), i think my favourite has to be ducks/waterfowl in general? i love the ruddy duck, cotton pygmy goose and cape barren goose specifically :)

owl hyperfixation pretty high up there though, so i'll say i'm also fascinated by great horned owls because of the sheer amount of studies/papers on them. they also have very funny squawks/hoots. (shout out to international owl center for feeding my curiosity).

sadly i Do Not live in america so i can't see those guys often :[
