I guess a lot has changed in auto racing since this race was depicted in the 1921 volume of Petroleum Magazine. I love the open topped race car and the race team wearing matching helmets. Oh and don’t forget about the referee waving the checkered flag. The whole ad makes me think of a certain 1980s Norwegian pop band and their iconic one hit wonder.

The Bay City River Roar was a great successes. Thank you for your prayers and words of encouragement. The Lord really blessed. My husband, Adam, was a huge blessing. He went and manned the tent on Saturday, all by himself, and he was able to had out 500 business cards, which also have Ephesians 2:8-9 on the back.
