All twenty of the currently or not-currently-employed F1 drivers come with brilliant backstories about how they became who they are. Yes, even billionaire Lance, whose dad basically built him an entire F1 team.
Every single one of them shows up with full commitment and their A-game. They put in the blood, sweat and tears every race weekend.
Which is why I genuinely can’t hate any of them. I just… have favourites. Like a normal person. 😊🫠
Now, Max. I feel a bit differently about him. And again, none of this is his fault.
It’s his overzealous, room-illiterate fans who test my patience. They cannot resist mentioning him under literally every other team’s Instagram post.
Sometimes I want to go full Jaya Bachchan on these knuckleheads, “Is this the place? Is this the time to talk about this?”
A team will post about their driver getting pole, celebrating, minding their own business and these gremlins will still slither in with “BUT MAX.”
Like, be serious. You’re undermining someone else’s achievement. For what? Attention? Validation? A personality replacement? What is this behaviour.
They’re so annoying that lowkey even Max is starting to feel irritating to me by association.
Don't be a simp, keep your love in check. No Lando or McLaren fan is going under Red Bull insta posts to praise him. Go celebrate your driver with your likes. Shoo.
