Only I Know *Mwahahaha*
We are approaching the end of Week 1 of the Checkout Challenge. It's getting tighter with the difference between the Top 3 houses only 19 books. Top-to-bottom is still close, with the difference only being about 1 book per housemate. So where are we exactly? Here are the standings:
At 80 books...EVERY HOUSE IS TIED!
Okay, so how is that possible, since I just said there was separation between the houses? Easy---I have added a specific amount of beans to each house to bring them all to 80 books. Obviously that's not where your house ACTUALLY ranks...but you won't know where your team actually is until the very end. That's right :-) from here on out, I will consistently weight the standings, and hopefully (as good competitors) you will get all your housies to come on out and check out as many books as possible in order to stay in the race.
Soooo...to all the houses tied at 80---I wish you good luck and good reading!
Checkout Challenge: Day 2
We're in to Day 2, with no suitcases in sight. We're down to one house, McCullough, who apparently has not checked out a single book! C'MON McCullough!
Big advances were made by Bingham, who checked out 18 books yesterday; Canfield with 19 books yesterday; and Franklin with 24 books yesterday!
Here are the updated standings, from bottom up:
