not diagnosed but highly suspicious of Being Autistic anyway, i feel like i dont see a ton of people talking about the pipeline of being young and unable to tell when you’re being made fun of/messed with/etc —> being unable to tell/refusing to accept when someone’s being genuine and thinking they’re either taking advantage of you or making fun of you because you can’t trust your own ability to discern between the two

i hc that its a big part of what makes shane so hellbent on the idea that what he and ilya are doing is Just Sex. he’s not going to get what he really wants and he’s going to be made to be the fool if he allows himself to want and hope etc., but after a while he just cannot deny what he’s seeing/feeling yk? idk maybe I’M the fool

i want myshane to have a super secret spam account where he vagueposts constantly but i seriously cannot rationalize him doing that in his canon world, even if the account didn’t give away his identity at all. maybe in a universe where he isn’t famous.

but in his canon world he is absolutely totally paranoid he’ll be found out somehow. he just cannot do it, even with total anonymity— he doesn’t believe in it. myshane is paranoid about having “lily” in his phone, absolutely no way he could make some sort of alt account. myshane is a slut for internet safety in the same way christian schools teach sex education— abstinence is the only way.

i am just really and truly obsessed with the thought of hollanov staying up way too late post-sex with the giggles. neither of them are saying anything that anyone else would find even remotely funny, but they’re riffing and their stomach muscles ache from laughing, they’re in tears, and every time they go quiet… a beat passes… and they’re laughing all over again.

eventually they’re both like Ok we have to sleep now seriously it’s 2AM. and they lay down and snuggle up next to each other all quiet… and then one of them brings up something the other said earlier and rinse and repeat. if you mention my run-on sentences and excessive use of the word “and,” i’ll hurt myself.

more thoughts. i love AUs within AUs. like yes i do want lesbian hollanov but i personally think it’d be the same so they need to be in a different setting.

one of my favorite fics ever had a surprise mystery twist to it and id really like to see that in a hollanov fic. however i’ve realized i have commitment issues so i don’t think it’ll be me writing it
