Lessons Learned in Real Estate: Always Double-Check!

It was a chilly January day, and I was out touring homes with my favorite realtor. We stumbled upon a magnificent property with a breathtaking view of the Appalachian Mountains. Excitedly, we stepped out onto the deck to take in the scenery, only to realize we were locked out with no way back in!

After a mix of laughter and frustration, we had to start making phone calls to track down the listing agent and get rescued. It wasn't the smoothest experience, but it taught me a valuable lesson: always double-check the door behind you before stepping out on the deck!
