A tasty and comforting casserole with soft chicken, a creamy cheddar cheese sauce, and savory biscuits that taste like Cheddar Bay Biscuits.
Ingredients: 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded. 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded. 1 can cream of chicken soup. 1/2 cup milk. 1 cup broccoli florets. 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder. 1/2 teaspoon onion powder. 1/4 teaspoon black pepper. 1 cup biscuit mix. 1/2 cup milk. 2 tablespoons butter, melted.
Instructions: Preheat oven to 375F 190C. In a large bowl, combine cooked chicken, cheddar cheese, cream of chicken soup, 1/2 cup milk, broccoli florets, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Transfer mixture to a greased 9x13-inch baking dish. In a separate bowl, mix biscuit mix, 1/2 cup milk, and melted butter until a dough forms. Drop spoonfuls of biscuit dough over the chicken mixture in the baking dish. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown and casserole is heated through. Serve hot and enjoy!
