i know you needed something to cheer you up today, so here’s some fun moments from my 1st grade classroom
-we’re learning about the oregon trail and the kids had fun “exploring” the playground
-we made trail mix and they kids got very excited about making “provisions” for our trip
-someone called our class capybara a “baddie”
-someone got really sad they only had one cookie and couldn’t share, so the cookie got split into 20 pieces
-and older kids came in and pretended like i needed to go be my teacher and my students got very protective very fast
That's really sweet, especially the cookie part. And your mention of the Oregon trail - that gave me flashbacks to old computers and pixelated covered wagons and dysentery (really aging myself here lol)
