Frannie had been out of Lima, Ohio for about seven years now. She had moved to Los Angeles to pursue her degree in English while minoring in Business and had fallen in love with the city. It was only natural to intern at a publishing house but it was surprising to the blonde that she had been promoted to head book editor after just five years of working there.
Today, she wasn't expecting any clients. Her boss had decided to have her work with a new editor that was coming in who would work under her. Once the secretary informed her that the girl was here, she told her to send her up to her office while she finished up some final touches on one of the drafts she had been reading through.
Hearing the door open, she kept her eyes focused on her work and gestured to the chair sitting in front of her desk. "I'll be with you in just a moment." She made a final correction before standing up, not looking at her yet. "You must be the new editor?" She had to make sure that no one just wandered into her office as she looked up and stopped, mouth hanging agape for a few moments.
"Quinn? What are you doing here?"

Puck was just about to kiss Jessica Alba on the lips when he heard a baby crying in the distance. It took him a few moments to realize he had been dreaming. He groaned, looking over at the clock. It flashed 2am. He slowly sat up. "I know, I know. It's my turn. I'll go check on her," he told Quinn before getting up from the floor. He yawned and rubbed his eyes as he groped around the dark room for the door.
Ever since Quinn had decided to keep Beth, Puck had been spending most nights over at Quinn's. Since they weren't together, Puck slept on the floor. It wasn't very comfortable, but he loved being able to see Beth whenever he wanted.
Puck slowly walked over to Beth's room. When he got there, he turned on the lamp by Beth's crib. "Hey, Beth. What's wrong?" Puck picked Beth up and held her against his chest, doing his best to calm her down.
" Need something? " Jake asked, resting his arms behind his head.

Santana tapped the button on her iPhone to show the time. It was a quarter to 5. Her make up artist was supposed to be there at 4:30. This was a disaster in the making. She had to get to the premiere early. Otherwise she'd get eclipsed by the big stars who show up right before it's supposed to begin. She wanted to get in a few style pages. She was starting to build up a bit of a name for herself. It was slow, but it she figured couldn't be THAT long before she landed a reality show. She picked up modeling gigs here and there. She debated again hiring a vocal couch. Fame was what she wanted. It was the only thing she didn't have and she went after it with all she had.
She looked out from her house in the Hollywood Hills. This was her town. Her father owned one of the biggest shipping companies in the world and it was based here. It wasn't as glamorous as a hotel chain or a department store legacy, but it did mean that money was not something that she had to worry about. At almost 5, she heard a knock at the door and ran in her robe to throw the door open. "You were supposed to be here half an hour ago."

One moment Tina was standing on the edge of the river, the next moment she was in the river. Scrambling back to her feet, she coughed a couple times to expel any water she may have accidentally swallowed. She looked up to the bank and saw one person standing there. "Really Quinn? Did you have to push me into the water?" Climbing out of the water, she shook her head to get rid of the excess water in her head.
