My #JingleVoxBox

The holidays were extra special this year because I received a Jingle VoxBox from Influenster. It is filled to the max with some really great stuff.

I am so excited to reveal all the goodies in this VoxBox. Ta-da! Here they are!

A Hallmark Rapunzel Itty Bitty, Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream,  Pure Ice Nail Polish, KISS lashes, KISS Adhesive, Biscoff cookies, NYC City Proof 24HR Waterproof Eyeliner and an Ore-Ida Tater Tot Coupon. I am ready to dive in and try all these wonderful products.

First off, before she escapes to her tower, I think Rapunzel will love visiting with some friends. Too late! She is posing in her tower as we speak.

Wish we had these when I was growing up. They are soft, durable and so cuddly. As you can see above, they come in a variety of characters. Your little ones will simply adore them.

Next up, the amazing Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream. Yep, it is amazing! I have very dry and itchy skin, so I was really looking forward to trying this cream out. 

Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream is not only a rich, fragrance-free moisturizer that delivers intense hydration and replenishes sensitive, dry skin, but it is clinically proven to provide immediate and long-lasting relief. It absorbs quickly and goes to work fast, helping to leave your dry skin soft and smooth and it is non-greasy. In addition, this cream is free of lanolins, parabens and fragrances that can irritate sensitive skin.

As soon as you open it, you notice how rich this cream is. After using it on my dry skin for several days, I already notice how softer and smoother my skin is to the touch. 

Plain and simple.....this cream works! I highly recommend this moisturizing cream to those with dry sensitive skin. I know I will be stocking up on Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream this winter in my home. My skin thanks me!

Now to the beauty side of my #JingleVoxBox. The nail polish from Pure Ice is just sinful!

Pure Ice Twisted. The polish is a glittery emerald green and you need to put on several coats to get the right look. Instead, I put a solid light green of nail polish on first then added the Pure Ice Twisted. I loved that! See what you think?

I really like this look. The plus side to this polish is that it is fun, flirty, Toluene free, Formaldehyde free and DBP free. The negative side is having to paint so many coats on before you get the correct shade you want on your nails. I think with glitter polishes it is best to paint a solid color on your nails and then add the glitter polish as a top coat. To me, it just looks better.

Next is the KISS eyelashes. I received KISS True Volume Natural Plump Eyelashes and KISS Strip Lash Adhesive. Okay, I will be honest and tell you I am 55 years old and have NEVER used false eyelashes before. This was definitely virgin territory to me. I was a little nervous and a little intimidated. 

Applying the adhesive to the eyelashes was easy. Just apply KISS adhesive to lash band, wait about 30 seconds for the adhesive to become clear and tacky, then apply the lash along the natural lash line.  Their tip for the perfect application is to apply eyelash 2-3 mm from inner corner to avoid tears. (See below)

After several tries, I finally got the eyelashes on properly. They are not too bad (I probably could have done better applying them), very comfortable to wear, but I think this is probably for someone younger or more experienced. Maybe, after wearing several times I could get to like this but I am a casual sort of person, so, maybe not. The eyelashes are 100% natural hair with tapered ends and they resemble the natural eyelash. Overall, a fun experience!

The NYC City Proof 24HR Waterproof Eyeliner was another product in my Jingle VoxBox. Eyeliner is a difficult thing for me. I usually have to get someone to help me apply it and over the years, I just quit wearing it because I always looked like a clown. Again, probably not great but I think I did pretty good with this. 

I was really excited to see how easy it was to apply, how smoothly it went on and it still looked pretty good after 24 hours. I just might have to start wearing this again. I will have to experiment with different looks using this pretty awesome eyeliner.

Beauty class is over and now to the goodies of Biscoff Cookies and Ore-Ida Tots. Who doesn’t love reviewing food products?

Taking a break with coffee and Biscoff cookies is a given. These wonderful tasty cookies are crunchy and each bite gives you a buttery flavor with a hint of cinnamon. Delicious!

You can eat Biscoff cookies as a cookie or try in a recipe. One morning I fixed Biscoff BlueBerry Delight. Blueberry waffles topped with blueberries, whip cream and crunched up Biscoff Cookies. Yum, my morning breakfast was indeed delightful! These cookies will enhance any home. However, I have no self-control when these are around.

Ore-Ida Tater Tots! Come on, who doesn’t like these? Crunchy on the outside, fluffy on the inside and packed with great taste! You can add them to any meal or create one using these wonderful tots.

If you go to http://www.oreida.com/, you can find some really great recipes to serve to your family and friends. I decided to mix together cooked chicken, broccoli, Ore-Ida Tater Tots, Parmesan cheese and some Cream of Chicken Soup for a dinner. It turned out pretty good!

Jingle Voxbox 2015

So I got the 2015 December Jingle VoxBox complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes. It was a great voxbox, it was a small box but it was completely filled up with products which was amazing.  So these are the products I received in the box and some of my opinions on them. 

I’ll start off with the #Hallmark IttyBitty’s...

I received a Olaf Itty Bitty and it’s kind of like a mini beanie baby type of toy.  Its really cute and really great to give to anyone as like a gift or stocking stuffer or something.  They have a ton of different IttyBitty’s in their collection.  I’ve seen Star Wars, Little Mermaid, Frozen (obviously lol), comic book hero’s and many more! They're not too expensive either, their starting prices are $6.95

Next in the unboxing is Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream

I got a little 1 Oz. tub of Cetaphil moisturizing cream. It’s a really good product, especially with this winter weather, it brings my dry skin back to life! I like that this was included in this box because I love moisturizer of all types, I use it all the time so this is really great. 

Next we have... Pure Ice Nail Polish

I really like this nail polish and I love the color I received. The color I got is called Bikini and its almost like a grayish blue or like a light periwinkle color.  It’s really nice and really pigmented and it applies really smooth, which is what everyone wants in a nail polish, am I right? You can find it only at Walmart for $1.97 

NYC City Proof 24HR Waterproof Eyeliner 

This eyeliner is great, it lasts really long and it goes on really smooth and easy.  It glides on, you don't have to like color in your water line like some other eyeliners you can do it in one or two sweeps across. It’s also really good for smudging, which is what I like to do because I usually wear more eyeliner.  You can get it at most drug stores or Ulta or Walmart for around $3.99

Next I got a coupon for 1 free OreIda Tater Tots product

I cashed this one in right away lol. I love OreIda products because yes, I love my carbs.  They're super good and really crispy when cooked.  They also have a ton of recipes on their Facebook/website and I will definitely be trying a few. 

The next two things are KISS lashes and KISS lash adhesive with Aloe

I got the “Natural Plump” lashes. I really love false lashes so I was super excited about these.  They are so natural looking which is what you always want to go for when wearing false lashes. They're really easy to apply, especially with the adhesive because it has an easy application brush.  The lashes are reusable and can last a really long time depending on how they are cared for.  They hold all day long and I would highly recommend to anyone that doesn't want to spend a lot on lashes or for those just starting out with wearing falsies.  You can get each product for around $3.99 

Finally, The last of what I received were Biscoff Cookies

Influenster gave me 3 packages of Biscoff cookies, they come with 2 in a package.  I actually have gotten these on a flight one time as a snack and they're really really good.  If you like shortbread cookies you will definitely have to try these if you haven't already.  They're really good with like coffee or a cappuccino or hot chocolate or something from a coffee bar.  You can get them in a 250g package for around $2.99

Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream

This is a perfect lotion for men and women who have very  dry skin. I have really dry skin and this product help me to really moisturize my face. I had used a lot of different face moisturizers that had work for a little bit but didn't  moisturize my face all day. This one it makes my skin soft and it is not greasy.  I use it at night and wake up to softer healthy skin. I love this product. I highly recommend this cream for all dry skin issues.
