          nancy learned the hard way about drinking- which is precisely why, at this party, which she still doesn’t know why she’d decided to attend in the first place, she’s COMPLETELY SOBER.           chrissy, however, doesn’t appear to be able to say the same. whatever influence the girl is under, nancy isn’t sure, but she offers a polite, albeit slightly strained smile. she isn’t going to be rude; chrissy doesn’t deserve that.

          “ are you feeling alright? ” she asks, tone soft around the edges. “ maybe we should step outside and get some fresh air, yeah? ”

Betty revved up the intro. It was soft yet held the gravelly edge beneath the sweet twang of Betty's strings. "Oh, miss Chris. When are ya gonna give this man a kiss? It's been a long while since he prayed for an angel like yooouuu. I think he deserves a kiss. Oh, don't you, Miss Chris?" He chuckled nervously once done. Singing on stage was one thing, but it was somewhat entirely different to give her a private show. Chrissy had asked, though. Eddie was powerful to resist.
