Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef. 1 onion, chopped. 1 bell pepper, diced. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 can 15 oz black beans, drained and rinsed. 1 can 15 oz kidney beans, drained and rinsed. 1 can 15 oz diced tomatoes. 1 cup beef broth. 1/4 cup ketchup. 2 tbsp tomato paste. 1 tbsp mustard. 1 tbsp chili powder. 1 tsp cumin. 1/2 tsp salt. 1/4 tsp black pepper. 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese. 1/4 cup chopped green onions, for garnish.
Instructions: Brown the ground beef in a big pot over medium heat until it's cooked through. Add minced garlic, diced bell pepper, and chopped onions. Saut the veggies until they become tender. Add kidney beans, black beans, diced tomatoes, ketchup, tomato paste, mustard, chili powder, cumin, black pepper, and salt. For the chili to thicken and the flavors to combine, simmer it for 20 to 25 minutes. Top the hot cheeseburger chili with chopped green onions and shredded cheddar cheese.
