This Cheesy Garlic Knot Pizza Dip is a tasty take on regular pizza. It has a garlicky pizza dough knot crust with a cheesy dip inside. Great for parties or as a tasty snack to share with family and friends.
Ingredients: 1 package of pizza dough. 1/4 cup olive oil. 3 cloves garlic, minced. 1/2 cup marinara sauce. 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese. 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese. 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese. 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano. 1/2 teaspoon dried basil. 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes optional. Fresh parsley for garnish.
Instructions: Start by heating the oven to 400F 200C. Make a circle out of the pizza dough and place it on a greased dish or skillet that can go in the oven. Press down on the edges to make a crust. Put the minced garlic and olive oil in a small saucepan. Heat them over low heat for two to three minutes, until the garlic smells good. Watch out for burning the garlic. Spread the olive oil with garlic on the pizza dough crust. Put the marinara sauce on top of the crust in a thin layer. On top of the sauce, put half of the mozzarella cheese, all of the cheddar cheese, and half of the Parmesan cheese. If you want, you can add crushed red pepper flakes, dried oregano, and dried basil on top of the cheese. Make knots in the pizza dough strips. Make a "garlic knot" border around the pizza by putting the knots along the edge. Cover the garlic knots with the rest of the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. Before you put it in the oven, heat it up. Bake it for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbling. Take it out of the oven and sprinkle fresh parsley on top. Serve the Cheesy Garlic Knot Pizza Dip hot with extra marinara sauce on the side for dipping. Have fun!
