I'm just picturing your robot vacuum hoovering excitedly just out of frame waiting for permission to go clean up.

Poor Magneato, he’s feeling his age. I did decide to run him this evening and he did exactly half of the living room before he decided it was time to recharge. I think soon it’ll be time to send him to the great hoover repository in the sky. 

I’ve been considering replacing him with a standard upright vac -- on the one hand it’s more work for me, but robot vacuums aren’t cheap (both of mine were insane discounts) and they seem to have a life span of about three years, which is not a lot. 

Of course, they’re adorable pets and I do love having him around.

I have to say, I am slightly worried because the foot print makes it look like you only have three toes. Is that why you don't show your face- are you secretly an alien? Or is this a Phil of the Future situation- you're from a future where humans have evolved to only have three toes? Either way, I have SO MANY QUESTIONS.

You appear to have a very nicely shaped foot, at least. Someday, digital archivists will be trying to recreate the images of net-famous people based on the small details such as this they allowed to be shown. This will lead to some interesting pictures...

Plus, when you’re in the kind of environment that continually looks down on anything that goes against their beliefs (which I believe is how it was on Daxam) you eventually are just trying to survive, especially if you think you are the only person who believes what you do. Plus, I’m sure if he showed any kind of resistance, The King Queen would NOT have allowed it. To me it seems he lived like that b/c that was what was expected and he felt trapped.

He probably did. His parents don’t strict me as forgiving people? And name one child who ever feels okay with going against the way they were raised? Clearly Mon-el had a very emotionally abusive home life. And the fact that he can find it in him to strive to be better, and to love, after all that. It’s an inspiration.

You should try Podcasts!!! I really love Thrilling adventure hour. :)

I have all of the Night Vale Presents podcasts and i got pretty far in Thrilling Adventure Hour before i just kinda got bored and had to move on to something else for a while...I’ve had friends recommend some to me that sound interesting but idk, i’m in a Mood and being Specific about what kind of media i’m taking in right now and basically it’s terrible XD

Hi Sam! I have a question about fandom, and I don't really know who to ask because, well, I'm not really active in fandom (more of an admirer, really) and you seem to be the go-to person for these sorts of things. I recently made a small messenger bag with Captain America's shield on it using old flannel shirts- I got the idea from the floral shield sweatshirt post you reblogged. I have quite a bit of leftover material and since none of my friends are big Cap fans, I was hoping to make a (cont.)

(cont.) for commission. The thing is, I don't know where to start with this. Do you have any pointers? Or can point me towards a post with commission starter pointers? Thanks so much!

I might be wrong here, because I don't do commissions/buy commissions very often, but I'm not sure there's really a site out there like you're looking for -- ie, one where you can offer goods for commission in that way. I know most visual artists either offer commissions on social media or have a patreon, and I don't think Patreon is really structured for what you're considering. The handicrafters I know, knitters and crocheters and such, generally just have a post up with the kind of work they do and information about prices, but I think most of them also get much of their business through word of mouth rather than say, a specific website. 

I suspect with something like what you made (which sounds AWESOME!) you'd have better luck making a second one and then offering it for sale. That said, if I were you I'd put up a post with photos of the bag you've already made, tagged appropriately ("captain america"  "cap" "shield" "fannish" "crafty" etc) and in the caption of the post make it clear you're willing to make bags like it for [price]. That's probably the best way to get word out. Good luck!
