I had one of the BEST days yesterday!! It started with me working the Falcons vs. Dolphins game. As stressful as working the game can be sometimes, I love doing it!! Immediately after working the game and heading to my car, I was invited by a tailgater invited to join their party. I stepped in, had a cocktail (I made it myself) and a little bite to eat. I stayed for a few minutes and chatted it up. It was cool. I love meeting new people and open to new experiences. Afterwards, I headed to Chef Zu's "Mtume Green" dinner event at Studio 7. When I tell you the food was EXCELLENT, it's with no exaggeration! Chef Zu created and prepared culinary perfection last night! It was perfectly curated! My senses were pleased thoroughly. The weather was permitting, the ambiance was aesthetically pleasing, high vibes, beautiful and dope people. This past Saturday we had our weekly mobile market and as usual it was a success! A success in the fact that good whole healthy food was shared in abundance. In addition to the food which was plentiful, we also had Chef Zu on hand from Kings Apron. Chef Zu prepared "Raw Walnut Tacos" and used the produce from Umi's Mobile Market to complete the wrap. It was so simple and yet so tasty! Even those who indulge in meat enjoyed it. It was definitely a home run! The intention of Umi Feeds and Kings Apron is to show people how to prepare healthy and nutritious meals with the food we have available from the mobile market.
