I don’t know if this has been said here on Tumblr before or not, I hope others are considering this too, but Chell is Japanese Brazilian.

Now that the issue has become extremely visible, anti-Asian bigotry and violence is something we all have no excuse ignoring/turning a blind eye to anymore (if you were ignorant or reluctant before)

And considering that the main character of the Portal games and favorite of the fandom Chell is, like I said earlier, Japanese Brazilian, we must all be especially vigilant about this shit.

Watch for white washing, watch for stereotyping, watch for fetishization, etc.

Educate yourself, stand up for others, and show some respect out there.
