Well… kind of. Even if the age gap isn’t much the maturity gap is a whole other can of worms. I used to date an 18-year-old when I was 15 and, even though I didn’t realize it then, he was… very predatory towards me.

I see. That sounds like a really bad personal experience, I’m sorry you had to deal with that.

14. Introduce an OC with a tragic backstory

most of my OCs don’t have tragic backstories, tbh. Jeong’s backstory didn’t get tragic until she was an adult. but!

Jeong was the rising star of an influential crime family -- a powerful enforcer, a champion prize fighter, and all around bad boy. but in the prime of her life, Jeong was drafted to fight in a bloody interstellar war. she was grievously wounded, and in the aftermath of the war she came home a quadruple amputee. in desperation, she utilized her remaining gang contacts to acquire illegal cybernetic limbs. she had always been hot-tempered and brutal, but the war left her jaded.

15. Do you like to talk about your OCs with other people?

I’m in a weekly GURPS campaign with Jeong and Naima as my PCs, so I talk about them very often with my party mates!

20. Do any of your OCs sing? If they sing, care to share more details (headcanon voice, what kind of songs they like etc)?

Naima sings! she has a pretty singing voice. it’s a very classic haunting kind of loungey voice. she idly dreamed of fame, but she never put in the work to make it happen.

40. Any fond memories linked to your characters? Feel free to share!

well I started really talking to my gf during our GURPS campaign. and we really bonded when our characters became friends (and her character stopped trying to betray mine). so I owe Jeong that, for sure
