“F-Fuck off Chen!” He shouts, stomping away. The further away he gets, the faster he moves, until he’s running out the back door. He needs a smoke.

Adelaide knocked on the door to Tina's house and waited for her to open it, bouncing on the balls of her feet because she was nervous as fuck. She held her hands behind her back as she took deep breaths to ease her anxiety and she was caught of guard when Tina opened the door, which made her jump.

"Uh, hey Tina!" she said with an awkward laugh. "These uh...these are for you." She held a bouquet of flowers in front of her and offered them to her as a blue blush spread across her face.

          he may as well be an actual wet cat outside of tina’s door, a duffel bag in one hand, the other trying to wring out his hair a bit. of course, it rained on the way over, he drove but the five seconds it took to get out of his car and up to the door was enough to get properly soak him through and through. it’s stupidly fitting, eerily poignant, and he hates it. 

          tina’s on the other side, he should have called first but he’s not really in the best of mindsets right now. she’s his best friend and yet gavin finds himself unsure of what to say for a moment. whatever it is, she’s going to ask why and he’s going to tell her, of course he is. he just doesn’t want to get there right away. 

          finally, he shrugs the shoulder sporting his bag, and stares at the space between their feet, “...can i crash here a few days?” // @chenyounot​

Having down time wasn’t something that Damian was too used to, but he had been asked to help out at a police expo, so he was technically still working, answering civilian based questions and go over some of the new equipment with those currently in the police force. Which was what he was doing now, handling a newly made piece of armour mainly for the SWAT team to protect them with the advancements from technology, they too needed the advancements. 

“From what I’ve been told, this armour is lighter and shock absorbent. Allowing to take any sort of damage that could be dished out by either a deviant Android or an Android that has orders to attack law enforcement”  Honestly he was just repeating what he had been told to say, they would eventually get this equipment in the field, it was still in the development stages. 

Placing down the chest piece, Damian takes a few steps away from the display table so those who wanted to could view the piece. He felt really out of sorts, unsure about what he was really doing, his techies usually where the ones who were the ones who handled these situations. 

Catching the sight of one of the Officers he had seen before around the Department, Allen makes his way through the crowd of officers and civilians to be around someone who he sort of knew “Officer Chen? Right?” He didn’t much know the officers outside of his unit, but she was someone who she had met briefly before, and honestly, Allen needed someone who would be able to hold a conversation which wasn’t expo based.
