Cherena is the only shifter RO. Due to their condition, though, they rarely shift and even then they are basically unable to fly.

Maybe this is one of the many reasons that makes them fascinated with MC. Seeing them fly freely is so ubearably painful yet so breathtakingly beautiful.

it's also fun deciding detail differences between "living" Cherry and "ghost" Cherry (quotations being due to sona lore, which is often or always changing), and you deeeefinitely can't tell what kinds of ghosts influenced it lol)

omg love that for cherena - just imagining them getting it and MC having someone else that gets it - all of MCs weird impulses, their body language in dragon form, social pressures of being one of the only shifters... such big brain choice :O

Aww yes, Cherena can especially get MC's instinct to nest and their urge to sometimes hide or take off from everything for a while.

Although, well, Cherena also knows that MC will feel it 5x stronger, being a true shifter.

Is cherena a true shifter as well?

Nope! Cherena is a normal shifter (the ones who make about 20%) of the population, so their physical traits are human-like and their shifted form is like a fifth of MC's.
