hi! i have a question re: sakuric.
Is there perhaps a term for those that are in a sakuric relationship(like gf/bf/partner/etc)?
So when I initially coined it I didn’t think it would be that popular so i didn’t coin one since I use romantic and familial words for my sakuric partners! but I consulted on this in the archivist server and decided to combine lapin’s suggestions of sakifriend and cherryfriend into cherifriend or cherimate! you could also potentially just shorten this to cheri!
it is taken from the sakura/cherry blossom of sakuric while also being similar to chéri/chérie which is french for dear/beloved, and also similar to the word ‘cherish’ which both share in linguistic roots!
