Final Digital Sale (1 June -27 June)
Hi everyone! We hope that you’re all safe and well! We’re happy to inform you that we’ll be starting our final sale for our digital zines, Undercover and Discover! This final sale will last from 1 June to 27 June, 23:59 (EST).
Get your copy here: https://vandyzine.itch.io/
Because of COVID-19 lockdowns and additional delays to postal services worldwide, we will only be offering Digital Sales only. This is the last chance to purchase Undercover and Discover, so make sure to get your copy before it ends!
Furthermore, after thorough deliberation, we have decided to change our charity of choice and donate all our proceeds from Pre-orders and Final Digital Sales to a Singapore-based COVID-19 relief charity, the Migrant Workers' Assistance Fund (MWAF).
The Migrant Workers’ Assistance Fund (MWAF) is a fundraising campaign in Singapore aimed at providing financial aid to the migrant workers who have been severely affected by the Covid-19 situation. Many have been displaced from their jobs and/or are unable to return home to be with their families, and they require financial assistance with medical bills as well as daily necessities. This campaign aims to help them tide through this difficult period. More information can be found on this website if you'd like to find out more!
Last but not least, we hope our customers still waiting for their physical packages will receive it soon! For more information, please check if your country is in the list of countries affected by the unavailability of transportation for USPS deliveries by reading through USPS International Service Alerts.
Thank you to all our buyers who have kindly contributed to the funds we have raised for charity so far, and we'd like to say a big thank-you in advance to those who are considering supporting this final sale as well! Stay safe!

Mystic Messenger Review
Since I did a Nameless review, it’s probably only fair I do a review for the other games I’ve played / finished as well. And it’d be remiss of me to leave out Mystic Messenger.
To date, Mystic Messenger is probably my favourite otome game, granted, I haven’t played all that many since I don’t own a PS.
The story was great, the characters were amazing and the concept was awesome. I’m so in love with this game.
Ratings
Interface (on a scale from “I hate life” to “Woosh!”): 8/10
The concept of this game, delivering it in real time chat/text/call format was inspired. If you didn’t use hourglasses to speed it up, it ended up really feeling like there were other people on the other side of the messenger app.
The reason I haven’t given it 10/10 is due to the fact that there’s a few irritating things on the interface. The buttons aren’t super responsive, sometimes you have to click things multiple times and sometimes (every time) that means you end up landing on Jumin’s profile instead of just going back.
Art (on a scale from “Potato” to “Holy shit sticks!”): 8/10
I loved the art for this game. But, there were one or two CGs which seemed a little off and the MC -really- needs freaking eyes, so it can’t get full marks. Design was top notch though.
Hot Boys (on a scale from “meh” to “Take me now…”): 10/10
Can’t really improve on them, so 10/10. I loved them all.
MC (on a scale from “Wet rag” to “Sassy motherfucker”): 10/10
The MC is… you. While the responses are canned, I felt like I could generally respond the way I would normally respond. I didn’t play the game with a walkthrough and pretty much got the Good Endings simply by being… not weird.
Story (on a scale from “wat” to “My life is forever changed…”): 10/10
Honestly the story was great. It destroyed my soul yes but it was amazing. I loved every character’s route, I loved how they were written, I loved the jokes, I legitimately fell in love with all the people in this game and I wish they were my friends.
Smut (on a scale from “Kindergarten play” to “…this is just porn”): 3/10
There were a couple of lewd jokes that made me snicker but actual smut was below Mills & Boon level.
Overall: 10/10
Even though it had a few flaws, like the CGs and the unresponsive interface, this game is top notch. Be patient and play it in real time without a walkthrough, the immersion is ridiculous.
