Hello everyone!

The Vandy Zine Mods are excited to announce that our donation has been sent to our charity of choice, the Singapore-based Migrant Workers' Assistance Fund! Thanks to your incredible support, we donated SGD$570 to the fund, which provides financial assistance to the the migrant workers who have been severely affected by the Covid-19 situation. 

Thank you so much for your patience and understanding throughout this project despite the hiccups we faced due to Covid-19, and we are very happy with how far Vanderwood Zine has come.

Now that this project has come to a close, we would like to express our thanks to all our amazing and skilled contributors, and to all of you wonderful buyers, supporters and applicants for following us through this beautiful journey. We would also like to thank Cheritz for making Mystic Messenger an amazing game for all of us to enjoy and for supporting us in this project! All of you made this project and charity donation possible, so thank you all for helping to do good in this world! 

Once again, thank you for everything and we wish you all the best!

Hello everyone! We hope you are all doing well and staying safe!

This is an important announcement for our buyers who have not received their physical zine packages yet. If you purchased digital products only, please feel free to disregard this. 

If you have NOT received your package yet, please drop us an email at [email protected] to let us know! The reason we are reaching out on social media is because the tracking on USPS may not be the most updated last we checked, and we would like to make sure that we are fully up to date with your shipping situation.

In the interests of time however (since we do not want the project to remain incomplete indefinitely), please email us by 28 August 2020 23:59 (EST) if you have not received your package yet. Please include the following:

Email subject: ‘Vandyzine Shipping Update’

Email body: Please include your storenvy receipt and tracking number to help us crosscheck the information at a quicker pace!

If we do not receive any responses, we will assume that everyone has received their packages in good order and will proceed to make the donation to charity and post the receipt to social media.

If we do receive responses, please give the mods some time after the 28 August deadline to discuss how we intend to proceed, and we will update you privately. 

We have sent an email to all our buyers with the same information as this announcement, but we are making posts on social media just in case.

Operation Sweet Tooth: Vanderwood x MC

Damn. How much time do I have left?

Sweat trickles down the back of his neck and the secret agent hurries down the hallway. His eyes keep flicking back to his watch to check the seconds that have gone by, frustration and nervousness building up inside him.

Man…I could really use some back-up on this. Where is she?

There’s a ding! and Vanderwood puts on the protective gear for his hands and decides he can’t wait for back-up any longer; it’s time to do this. The secret agent opens the door and a sweet smell infiltrates his nose, the scent already filling the room and wafting into the hallway. Great…he just gave away his position and the status of his mission. He waits for a couple of heartbeats, listening for any opening doors or footsteps on the stairs. When there’s none, Vanderwood quickly reaches inside and grips the metal container before pulling it out. Feeling the heat of the metal even through the cloth, he rushes to the table and lays the container gently on top.

Ha…in all my years in the agency, never thought I’d be doing something like this.

Thirty Day Trial

Along with the final sales of the Vanderwood Zine, we have been given permission to post our full contribution to the zine! I had the privilege to write a short story for the project which indulges my own personal love for coffee shop stories. Thank you to everyone who purchased the zine, and well done to everyone else who contributed! ^^

Anyone could miss it if they tried looking for it. Maybe that’s why it was his favourite place; it was his getaway from his everyday life; his escape from the inescapable. Fitting for someone living such a life as he was.

Beyond the Devil’s Ivy, draped over the wooden mantle of the footpath, was a glass door. Nothing special about it, but its simplicity was charming. His eyes searched the interior before his fingers curled around the handle. They searched for the familiar messy bun of brown hair bobbing up and down, sported with a new, colourful headscarf every time he visited. He always liked to guess before he saw it, wondering if he really was as good at profiling as his job demanded. Today, she wore mustard yellow.

Dear Agents, We hope that you're doing well during this difficult time.

We would like to update you about our shipping status. While all our Digital and Physical zines have been shipped, some of our international customers (outside US) have yet to receive their physical packages. We understand you might be worried about the status of your package, and on our end, we are also concerned about them!

In this time of uncertainty, because of the lockdown experienced in several parts of the world and due to air travel restrictions, your delivery may be delayed. We invite you to read through the announcement on the USPS site for more information, and to check if your country is in the list of countries affected by unavailability of transportation: USPS International Service Alerts.

Because of the lockdown and global emergency, our leftover sales are currently on hold until further notice. In particular, physical sales may not reopen depending on how the situation develops. We invite you to keep following us for eventual news on the matter.

As of now, all the undelivered packages are signed as "in-transit", with the last update happening around mid-March. We hope they reach you soon! In case any of your zines gets sent back to our shipping mod, we'll get in touch with you; until then, we kindly ask you to be patient and stay safe.

Any idea how long it might take for it to get to Europe? Also, is there a way for me to track where the item currently is?

Hello anon, and thanks for your ask.

International shipment may take anywhere from 1 to 12 weeks, depending on the shipping customs of the country. Packages are guaranteed to be tracked in the United States. However, for some countries, once the package leaves the US, tracking might not actively update until it reaches its destination. We recommend to check with your post office for any changes or delays to shipments due to the COVID-19.
