Cherry specializes in explosives. She is the embodiment of the "positive" qualities of her three components: being fun, loving, carefree, supportive, etc. She can also be overbearing and short sighted but also tries to make things a blast. Cherry Quartz would also inspire the Rebellion's laser light canons and more of the explosive weaponry.

(This last panel where Cherry is holding her light canon would be her "last stand" in a fight with Heliodor. This wouldn't have a big impact on Heliodor but would result in the destruction of the surrounding environment just like in Rhodonite's fight with Heliodor)
