Fighting obsessed, single-minded and a tad bit crazy, Prasiolite is the Jasper replacement of the Blue AU. She is a simple gem, all of her pursuits are to achieve one goal - battle. Not exactly the most 'smart' of White Diamond's quartzes, she was given the opportunity to be the escort of a Nephrite due to unmatched physical ability. Nobody loves training and fighting than Prasiolite, and this is reflected in her raw brute strength. She has never required critical thinking skills due to this, as she can punch and slash her way through almost any problem presented to her. In addition to this, Prasiolite will stop at nothing to increase her strength and power. Whether this be training during any free time or more... 'unorthodox' methods, her pursuit for it can never be saitiated.
This is what led her to being imprisoned within the fusion Turqouise under the sea by the informant Nephrite brought with her. It is what led her to hunt down the Crystal Gems and what, finally, brought about her shattering. In a final climax, Prasiolite turns reckless in her fighting, and accidentally causes a cliff to fall onto her, destroying both her form and gem on impact. She died exactly as she lived, and it was a death that reflected her hunger for more that simply couldn't ever be reached. While a constant threat to the CGs, they treated her to a proper funeral according to an Earth tradition she would have enjoyed. The warrior's funeral from viking culture, in which her shards were sent to sea and set fire with by an arrow. At the time they could have not possibly known that in the future shattered gems would be able to be healed, but perhaps its for the best.
After all, now Prasiolite can finally take a well deserved rest.
