Black Walnut and Cherry Strudel Black walnut and cherry strudel topped with a simple glaze is worth the time it takes to prepare. Slice into small pieces to serve.

NOTE TO SELF: It's been a while since I've gone full-blown German and this place did it up right, all the way from the sauerkraut balls to the strudel. I even loved the "salad" plate of beets, cold green beans, and cucumbers. Everything was top-notch. Easily a top-ten meal of the year.
