In Dixie Kong's Double Trouble, we got banana birds.
And then in DK64, we got banana fairies.
Personally, I wish Nintendo brought the fairues back, they were cute and the idea of a banana themed creature like that is funny.
It's like Tinker Bell if she wore a banana peel.
I know this is a pipe dream, but I've always wished that Lanky could be a playable character in Smash.
His appearance in DK64 has enough to support a moveset:
Even his Trombone Tremor would make for a good Final Smash.
I mean, to each their own I guess?
Alternate take:
When you enter the cafe, once in a while at random you'll see the A for Effort band performing with a character from one of the mini games.
Including the Slice N Dice woman who you don't see her face, only her back in that stage.
Sometimes when you enter Soccer Dreams 2, you may get a different person on the bench behind you.
One is Mona wearing her cheerleader outfit from WarioWare Smooth Moves.
And the other is the couple from Double Date in Rhythm Heaven Fever.
Which seems fitting since Soccer Dreams does bare some resemblance to that other mini game.
It would be cool if after you collected all 201 golden bananas and defeated K. Rool, you returned to the hoard and they were all there just like in DKC.
But unfortunately they weren't able to do that.
Yeah, personally not a fan of how the credits were put togther, kinda hard to enjoy these scenes with the screen doing that.
The ending to DK64 kinda mirrors that of Diddy's Kong Quest.
Candy Kong having her Lola Bunny moment.
I never knew about this before, but if the timer runs out for any of the kongs the first time around, Crank will comment on it.
Lanky's arms a reasonable length in the game,
However, during the fight against K. Rool, Lanky's arms stretch out longer then normal.
Maybe he should have been a contender for ARMS.
It's interesting that when K. Rool gets the spotlight stuck on him during Diddy's round,
We go into Lanky's round with it still stuck on him continue to fight anyways,
And they waited until Tiny's round to finally help get it off him (and repair the lights in the ring).
Then again, it's not like he couldn't have done it himself.
The new emerald ore event is out, and MAN it was a pain to beat.
The trick I had to use was to nax out my Rock-Ensemble Beat, Typhoon Titan, and Batteroid Demolisher, also wait until round 10 and go up top of Tempest Layer 1 and take out all the Batteroids up there.
Sam Neill passed away recently.
I am glad that we at least got to see Alan Grant and Ellie Saddler get together before his death.
