Niles loves you an incredible amount and knows you better than anyone else. He knows that the fact that you tend to be quiet around others, isn’t because you’re rude or that you don’t like them, it’s simply who you are.
Other people may not respond very well to you having a hard time expressing your feelings, but if they take it the wrong way then Niles will always stand up for you and defend you. Your feelings are the most important to him and he won’t let anybody hurt you♡
The same goes for you being quiet, he won’t let anyone walk over you just for that reason.
Though, sometimes he wonders what goes on in your head, the fact that you’re always so quiet around others makes it so he doesn’t always know what you’re thinking.
Sometimes he wonders if he isn’t treating you good enough and that that is the reason why you’re quiet or that you’re afraid to say anything about it. He doesn’t want you to leave.
