i don’t want to say that a white christmas is just what was needed,

but maine has definitely helped the wood family kind of piece themselves back together. last night i even saw my parents sit in the same room together for more than five minutes and look...almost happy?

more importantly, i have spent most of this week a) sleeping or b) writing and i gotta admit, i never expected maine to be so inspirational but i like, finally understand stephen king, y’know?

kinda starting to take it personal that the universe is creating a black hole around here.  if anyone was going to disappear, it probably should have just been me.

Y’all know that giant ass mansion that’s like an hour’s drive out of town? Well, I have it on good authority that the place is officially on the market, which means that no one’s living there at the moment and my mom’s got the keys. So, naturally, I’m throwing a fuckin’ party.

I’ve been praying over and over again for the past couple of hours and typically it makes me feel better, but this time it’s not working. I think someone needs to pinch me because this feels like too much of a nightmare that I need to wake up from.

So, I am imaging this weekend to be like the movie The Kissing Booth and nobody can change my mind. I just need to find the boy that I’ve had a crush on for years to kiss and have a magical moment with. Will it happen? Fingers crossed.
