@sashimiphile: Hi eggplant, I've just come across the fact that Yuna was not invited to Grand Prix 2012-2013 season. Is this because she didn't participate in the same event the previous year, or are there some other reasons?
i can’t find the 2012 isu gp announcement right now so i can’t check the rules, but if i had to hazard a guess, it might be because she sat out the 2010 and 2011 grand prix series. nowadays skaters can use the “comeback skater” rule to get 2 GPs after a break, but idk if that rule existed in 2012. actually, i don’t even remember if she missed the 2012 GP on purpose or not. sorry i can’t give a more definitive answer...
What is it with Team Japan loving Dai's 'Sabre Dance' so much? Remember when Nobu and Mao independently from each other confessed to being huge fans of the program? Could this really be Shoma's way of paying tribute to his hero? Couldn't he have found ANY other way? Like changing his program to POTO with original choreography by Morozov, because this was the origin of his Dai worship? (I'm sorry, I don't mean to aggravate your pain. This whole situation is just so funny though... >:D)

he might. he’s practicing it regularly now and landed one in his short program at stars on ice japan. we’ll see what happens. (i hate him.)

should’ve known better than to hope. shoma is a destroyer of dreams. i expect nothing from him now but the worst in every situation ever.
but maybe the real reason for Shoma's costume change is so that the audience can sing along with the woman who screams "LOCO LOCO LOCO" during the program.
