Y'all just wanted me to draw Thorin didn't you
well it worked! Cause omfg if acting was a drug Richard Armitages portrayal of Thorin with gold sickness would be my heroin. It's just so beautiful favorite part of the botfa hands down.

Do you ever take prompts?
(making this public because i’ve been meaning to address this for a while now but i’ve been lazy. let me know if that’s not okay, bb!)
i do take prompts. you can feel free to send them to me at any time!
i will occasionally make a post calling for prompt, and those i usually get to fairly quickly (i usually make those when i am in a funk and can’t get out of my own head, so i benefit a lot from getting your ideas!). but, you really can send them to me any time. if i am not actively taking prompts on a post, it may be a while before i get to them, but i (usually) eventually get them done. :)
so, tl;dr: send prompts any time!
a quick note about botfa prompts - i will not fill/post any of those until after the new year, mainly for my aussie friends who are STILL WAITING to see the film. :)

I will be upset about how they ignored Fili until the day I die. Lol
Same here, same here. If PJ refuses to give Fíli the love he deserves, then the fandom will.

I thought the ‘I’ was an ‘O’ and was really confused for a moment. Danoelle.
Danoelle is actually my name. It's a Garry/Jerry Gergich situation.
(In all seriousness, though, a newspaper once printed my name as Nanielle and it was read out that way at an awards thing. Oh dear.)

I found it too hard to listen to the story while exercising. Maybe it’s a sign I’m very unfit!!!
I think we're so used to the full immersion of an in-ear radio drama. This'll take some getting used to!

You found this one with English subs too? Awesome!!!
Yes!! SBS2 just broadcast this one on the weekend! (I'll be sure to make some more caps). Which means, I guess, that Die Braut is gonna get subtitled too? Ooh!

I heard “banjo accompaniment” and came running. This is amazingness.
Isn't it a great song?? I've just had it on repeat all morning. I feel like a teenage version of myself. And the banjo -- and guitar -- both fantastic!!

Oh so the cat empire is a group. When you mentioned it in your status the other day I thought it was a massive band of cats that loitered around the area or something. :D
OH MY GOODNESS NOW I WANT THIS SO BAD. And if there is a cat empire, then there has to be a cat emperor, surely? Gah, Nero would have nothing on cats. They'd be so cold and ruthless.
(PS. Yes, they're an Aussie group with like a jazz, Latin, and rock fusion, and I have been bingeing on them a fair bit lately).

It was stuck in my head again this morning and oh the feelings!

I’m so embarrassed because I didn’t know the movies were based on real books. :-/
Don't be embarrassed! I didn't know either, when the first movie came out. I know a lot of fans who read the books before the movies came out can be real jerks about people who didn't know about them (not all fans, but some) but there's no need. The books are very different from the movies, but they are spectacular (and heartbreaking). You don't have to, but if you like, pick 'em up and join us! They're very good. Either way, you're still a Dragons fan! Never feel bad!
