Memory of the first time you moved into Cheonguk.

With a soft smile replacing his otherwise grumpy face, the Lieutenant leaned back in his seat, his eyes staring at a random spot on the ground as he went back to that specific memory twelve years ago. His mind wandered off to other memories briefly before he pulled himself back to answer the question.
It was in October of that year, he had a mission assigned to him and he had to move to the historical building many have called home. Minwoo took out a bag out of his car’s boot, which he parked outside Cheonguk apartments, and stared at the building and its surrounding. Golden and red leaves had covered the pathway to the entrance. The large tree next to the building reflected the sunlight in the most magical way. Maybe living there wouldn’t be so bad after all. Back then, the agent wouldn’t have thought his estimated stay for a couple of months would last for a few years.
The sound of dry leaves breaking under the weigh of his steps were now the melodic as he recalled the memory. The first face that greeted him was of Mina and Roy, two members of the management team at Cheonguk. Those two were his window to a world of wonders, and a road of self discovery he never thought he would take a step towards it.
Minwoo looked up at the person who asked him and offered his most genuine smile. “I miss that day now that you made me think about it. I miss too many things about the days and years that followed as well.”
