This song’s been up on Nico for about six months now, and it’s already in the Hall of Fame  (100,000+ views). Blending a more soft/childishly tuned vocal with electronic sound is obviously nothing new but I feel like there’s a balance for it that not everyone can hit like K-Dash has done. The sort of wistful, nostalgic lyrical tone that then doubles back and admits how much all of that can hurt really pulls at me.

This song is pretty ambiguous and even the emotions in it are mixed. Still I feel the slightest hint of hope in it- as if even though there's all this negativity happening and there's plenty of bad news, we continue to find reasons to go on. The artfulness of how the lyrics are made part of the animation is wonderful and the guitar is pretty solid, too.
