I think it's also worth mentioning that browser X's guilt system involved literally harvesting Guilt from the Heartless (collecting a set quota of Guilt from target heartless each event period to strengthen your first strike.)

English uses Special Attack Bonus instead of Guilt, which removes the negative connotation from the action, which basically defeats the purpose of the plot point.

Yeah I heard that but didn’t want to believe it cause technically those two words could co-exist. Like Guilt is the action and Special Attack Bonus is the result. Cause “Special Attack Bonus the medal” is a lot more of a mouthful than “Guilt the medal”

Also it was translated long after it became apparent in Browser Chi why it was called guilt so it makes no sense not to translate it as guilt. Then again I question whether or not NASE gives a shit about what happens in the Japanese version of the game...which is weird cause normally they’re pretty good when it comes to Kingdom Hearts translations (like most complaints I’ve heard involve word changes that even though the words are different the meaning is still the same which to me means a non-issue).

The rankings are based on Lux collected, right? Larger Unions would naturally collect more Lux. So the weekly rankings aren't necessarily rigged, but I'd be interested in seeing the size of each Union.

Yeah sadly (I wish they were based on total amount of lux collected/number of actively collecting wielders but I suppose that wouldn’t be as easy to calculate) Going off of of how stable the rankings are the size is from biggest to smallest probably

if we're talking about foreteller personalities, there's a small thing that's been biting at me. were they determined WAY back before anyone knew anything, or did they develop along with the game?did ppl playing x help determine who got which role? (mostly looking at union rankings from browser x on khinsider /kingdom-hearts-x/guides-and-references/weekly-union-rankings

Yeah I kind of wonder that too. However looking at how volatile the browser’s rankings were I believe it’s unlikely.

I would be more likely to believe it if the mobile rankings came first seeing as they’re oddly stable and…well Ira is first so he’s the leader, Vulpis is second so she’s leader of the dandelions, Anguis is in the middle so she’s the mediator, Leopardos is near the bottom so he is given a not so great role and Uraus is always last so he’s jealous of Ira and gets a role that connects to that. 

Also fun fact the usual order for the mobiles is as follows

i love that the Foretellers master's title can be abbreviated as 'MoM'. the hilarity that could ensue

Dragon Admin: Yeah I saw that and it took me a moment and I don’t think it’s technically wrong XDMaster of masters: I’m not a regular MoM, I’m a cool MoM

Admin Sylph: Regular union members short-handing Master of Masters as “MoM” and accidentally using the phrase near one of the masters and needing to explain themselves(and probs getting scolded bc it’s kinda rude?)

Dragon Admin:Honestly I could see some of the masters using it when they were a bit younger. MoM would probably find it cutely hilarious.

Admin Sylph: I dunno how strict their perceived rules of politeness are w/the Masters though but I could see a few of them using the short hand as kids. didn’t MoM raise them?

Dragon Admin: I have no clue what age is the norm of keyblade apprenticing. Could be really young, could be 10-13.I assume if they did called him MoM they grew out of it. Crap I wanna know more about these people they’re like Ansem’s apprentices 2.0
