Unproductive weekend was unproductive
Yeah.... I really should have been doing some work for classes but... Well.... I'm pretty confident in my hirigana for Japanese tomorrow... And I got my speech powerpoint done (just need to type and print the outline) but my art assignment..... ...... .................... ............................yea.......... I don't do vanitas very well when it has to do with real food. My family 1) aint got all 5 food groups and 2) we don't exactly have food for me to set out and draw. ....Maybe I can just make a really nice picture from memory and get away with it.... I'm really good at sensing where shadows should fall...
Anywho, I ended up putting off a lot (well, really only a little) of work and instead hung around tumblr. This coming week I think I'll go through and do some color work of Lemon-kun to add to his blog. I love his oodles and oodles!
Random Update~
So, I'm getting a head start for Valentine's Day. (Kinda.) So I can take some pictures in cosplay and put them up, and share/spread love and Friendship and sunshine! And pasta! My college classes start up next Tues, and between those, I'll be starting the work for 3 Bleach cosplays (mine, my moms'.) Arrancar arc!Orihime, Rukia, and Ichigo!
I love my family
Plans to go to Fanime in May, my moms are going to let me dress them up as the female Zero pair from Loveless as I go as Ritsuka. X3 I also made them Rose and Kanaya cosplays from Homestuck. I love my moms, they are so freakin cool! They have no clue what the anime (or webcomic, or manga, etc) is, or what it's really about, but they love the fact that I love that they want to be involved in my anime world stuff!!
Now this, this is parenting done right! Whether you understand their interest or not, as parent you should encourage it! (Anime would be the reason I stay away from dugs, and always stay true to myself even in the face of bullies. And I don't have to hide any part of me, because my moms are all for me running around the house in costume, pulling my hair out, working on a deadline project.)
Goal for May
Something like that. This month will see my 18 birthday, and I'm no where ready to enter this world. But lots of people have it harder than me. So I guess this is kind of a countdown of being thankful and giving back... IDK. This sounded a lot more inspirational and less non-sense-y in my head....
*stares at screen* I have followers. 15 followers... And... Like, only 2 are people I know. ....YAY! THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO LIKE MY KIND OF CRAZY ASS NO-SENSE AWESOME! (meaning Homestuck reblog spam) YOU ARE ALL AWESOME PEOPLE! (everyone is awesome! I'm feeling hyper! Maybe it was the apple juice!?)
Fire for Art
Yeah, I do not like 'playing with fire.' *blows on toasty fingers* even if it is to make pretty rose petals for an art project. Fire is hot... And my petals kept catching a-flame. *pout* But as toasty as my fingers are right now, I'm gonna need to make a few more petals/roses for my project. I've got about two weeks before the project is due for the event/contest, so we'll see how many I can get done. I like making the roses out of velvet with a gather stitch. (I was also able to make those at school unlike these ones.)
Save Me from the Fandom
Save me, or not. You might just approach me like a creep and say 'you're one of us!' ...okay, maybe not. But I do know people who do that (and have done so to me), and enjoy freaking me out. But, anyways; what I need to be saved from:
Homestuck has sucked me in. Like, big time sucked me in. DAMN YOU ALL!!! I'M ONE OF YOU NOW!!! (she said with no real spite) Nah, that's not the problem. The problem is that all of the friends I actually see on a regular basis and who hang out with me (huh....) don't know what Homestuck is, or have yet to read it. So... I finally get into this big fandom only... everyone I talk to has no clue what it is.... Fun. (I wish it was easier to make friends.)
