Nic Wallenda, who would probably have a much larger family if his relatives had been landscapers and not high-wire walkers, completed his blind-folded high-wire walk between Chicago skyscrapers on Sunday Night with millions watching from around the world..

He later admitted to reporters that he tripped and fell while walking to his car after the performance.

“This should be a lesson for us all,” opined a clearly-chastened Wallenda in a press release.  “I was busy texting selfies I took of me tap dancing on the high-wire when I apparently tripped over a poorly-tied shoelace. Obviously glad it happened on the ground and not up on the wire!”
